- This is really old footage of us flying back in like 2020, 2021. My crew is flying CAP and doing their own thing but trying to protect the airspace around us, while Elmo and myself are in the A-10C II while completely demolishing several objectives. Mind you, we did all this in ONE go. No rearming or refueling between objectives. It was awesome.

This reminds me of a round I played a month ago. I requested CAP for my A-10 run and no one was in the AO so I said "Fuck it, I'm merged with a hostile F-14! I'll do it myself" and took it out with an AIM9X :D I was pretty damn happy with myself that night :D

If you do 2 A10s and 1 CAP aircraft you can get quite a bit done.
now i just gotta convince the few friends i have that pilot in arma to spend up to 200$ on a flight stick, $150 on trackir and another 80$ on the plane itself and i too can try to have fun.

I had to laugh at "racing back to base". Right when you said that I had a thought that the water going by looks like the view out of the F18 on approach to the Carrier at 140 knots
Kick ass man.. The A-10C was hard as hell to learn, but once it's learned it's super intuitive and an absolute WRECKING MACHINE!
Was in a BattleTech mood and my mind autocorrected the title to "A-10 IIC" and thought to myself "Dear Lord, the Clanners made a scarier A-10."

Im currently flying the Enemy Within 3.0 Campaign, the first 3 missions with the regular A10C(i love and rock since years) and have upgraded to the A10C II to test it out... it's so freakin' awesome and such a good and capable platform if used correctly.

@@ralfidude Only thing I can see is left center screen, just outside the cockpit frame at 4:35, there's something on the ground kicking up a lot of dirt.

Heyy menn, i have bought the TM warthog hotas now i was wondering is the profile is plug and play with this addon like the. Old a-10 of am i wrong ? Do i need to manual set all buttons ?
it's plug and play but the axis will need checking, and the TRIM will be set to view. So check those two things and all should be well. If not, then from teh drop down menu select HOTAS and just map everything real quick. Won't take you even 10 minutes

Incorrect, the blue on blue kill count began in the early 2000s which would mean the A-10 got that kill count with IFF. Twice as many as the second place on that list too!

@@Some_Beach depends on what you mean by IFF, it can identify friendly planes and is much better at ID'ing friendly ground forces than it was during desert storm, but to my knowledge there is no true A/G IFF system for any plane
@treyaldridge1757 can't really say what modern IFF/Datalink can and can't do, since it's classified.

I've never played DCS as i dont have a PC so I have to ask, how do you look around like that while keeping both hands on stick and throttle?

@@ralfidude so it's VR? or just head tracking with a really big screen so it's always in your field of view. This is really interesting all the equipment needed, when I use my hotas for war thunder i don't even have rudder pedals
@@pefiofpersia2492t tracks your head movement, but you dont need to turn a full 180 to look behind you, so you can still see the screen, nearly a must for dcs, the difference it makes for situational awareness is unreal

How on earth to you find targets os fast.. im just aimlessly slewing the tpod about and getting blatted out the sky by manpads
you check the F10 map and check the features around you and the features on the map. Is it the hill in front of you, is it the hill 3 hills over? Is it in a valley? Is there a town or river next to the objective you can use as a reference marker? Notice how I was looking outside the pit with my eyes and then I found them that way and then designated it with my JHMCS. It takes practice but doable for sure.

To my knowledge the A10 doesn't carry the X variant IRL.

@rixogtr I'm assuming they just don't need it. Not many targets an A10 will encounter where it needs high off boresight fox 2s.

A10C is the upgraded A10. The C upgrades added the glass cockpit, HMD, litening pod, and other PGM integration.

Not actually complaining it was overperforming quite a bit in the past, but would be nice if the current implementation was consistent on each aircraft, target and map.

Depends what's there. Every server has their own types of threats placed. I did take fire quite a bit there.
