    I think that the line of force which will enter through outer surface are -ve and the lines which will come out from inside are gonna be +ve ...and flux is because of line of forces.. so if we add the value of line of forces going in and coming out it will be 0 because +ve and
    -ve add will be zero

    Sir, please tell us the answer of that question... I think the most intuitive answer for that question in support of ϕnet = 0 would be, "the number of field lines entering any closed surface is equal to the the number of lines leaving out that closed surface." Hence net electric flux will be zero.
    But when I try to solve it mathematically, I am not getting that answer...
    Sir if we imagine a non uniform electric field directed along positive x axis, say E=Eo*x (ie E depends on x) as x increases E also increases (or E increases with x direction). If we imagine cube of side '1 metre', placed in such a way that its first surface (normal to E or you can say 'area vector' making 180 degrees with E) is at x=1 and other surface (normal to E Or 'area vector' making 0 degree with E) is at x=2.
    Electric Flux through first surface ϕ1 = Eo*1*1Cos(180) =-Eo (area = 1m2 and x=1)
    Electric Flux through first surface ϕ2 = Eo*1*2Cos(0) = 2Eo (area = 1m2 and x=2)
    ϕ1 = -Eo
    ϕ1 = 2Eo
    ϕnet = ϕ1 + ϕ2 = -Eo + 2Eo = Eo
    So net flux is not zero.
    ϕnet≠0

      actuallyy electric field is a component of energy....because it is a part of electro magnetic wave and in wave we arey studing about energy ...and this wave has two part one is electric field and another is magnetic field.....and in case of electric field joo iss energy ko mesure karta hey usi ko hi hum log flux bolte hain.....ab ese samjho ki ek area hai aur usme electric field pass kar raha hey same direction main.. i.e jitni jyada electric field pass karegi kya utni hi jyada energy pass karegi.....yesss....agar main area aur field ki direction ko change karu to energy decrease hoga....i.e energy un dono ki beach ka angle ki upar v depend karta hey.....ab vai app ki jo problem hey yahan se samjho ki...agar electric field aur area ki angle same ho to flux jyada hogi ..to yahan pe unka beach ka angle zero hey(0) hey....ab batao jo hum angle lenge wo cos wala hoga ki sin wala ...obviously cos wala kyunki yahan pe energy maximum ....so cos 0 is 1 but sin 0 is 0.......

      But yahaan pr electric 🔦 field
      Ka flux energy 🔋 transfer nahi
      Karta ha because according to
      Maxwell oscillating charge
      Particle em wave produce karta ha
      Yahan pr yeh electric field sirf force lagta hai or agar yeh force work kra toh yeh work test charge ki potential energy me store hoga
      In short 😂 yeh flux flow of energe

      I think flux is the number of lines of force passing through a surface per unit surface area. So, even if the field intensity (E) is not uniform, the number of lines of force will be as previous. So, each line with some intensity(say, e) enter and exit. So flux for that line is 0. This thing happen for every line no matter intensity or strength is different from previous one. This is because there exists both +ve E and - ve E. So net flux will be stil Σ(+E-E) =0.
      ONE QUESTION 🙋, DO EACH FIELD LINE HAVE THEIR OWN E AND Φ?

  • @physicsworld9381

  • @priyasehgalinfj
    @priyasehgalinfj 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    sir please tell the answer to the question u asked at last!
    I thought electric field in terms of electric field lines and what is meant by non uniform electric field is that some of the lines may be close and some are far apart but we know that no of lines per unit cross sectional area is constant for these lines are continous and that's flux!...so net flux = 0..Am i correct or missing out something??

    • @ashieshkapoor
      @ashieshkapoor  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      No 😂😂😂u are right saying for stronger field lines will be closer and weaker they will further apart so if that being the case why flux through a given area same ? It shud be different na ? Imagine a cube left side stronger field meaning more lines say 20 lines coming in and right face weaker field say 10 lines going out .. how will flux cancel ?
