- In this video I show you how to tie the Sexy Walt's Worm Hot Tag that works great for euro nymphing. I would encourage you to try this little fly in a lot of different color variations including pink bead pink tail or copper bead and orange tail. I mostly fish this fly in a size 14 and 16s but 18s can also work great! Be sure to give it a try the next time you head out on the river.

Cool take on a Walt's Worm!! I typically use hares ear, but I like the idea of using squirrel.
Yeah for sure, most hares ear or squirrel dubbing will work for the body and you can swap colors for different situations. Thanks for watching!

Do you have a suggestion for an alternative to pine squirrel dubbing? It is out of stock everywhere I’ve looked.
Any sort of hare's ear style dubbing would work well
Been meaning to tie something similar to this, but all of the yellow/green glo brite is out of stock at the fly shops I use!! I think the salmon anglers are hoarding it all haha
Yeah they can do that for sure. My local shops are great about buying it in bulk. But don’t sleep on all the other color options :)
@@FlyingTies for sure, I have it in most of the UV shades except the yellow stuff! #2 and #5 are my go to for tag nymphs currently.
