That last bit about personal growth is something more folks should live by and is the sure sign of someone pretty damn astute. Take my Like guy that sounds like a mix between Matthew McConoughey in that Dark Tower movie and Keanu Reeves.
Quickly becoming one of my favorite content creators for SM2. It says a lot about my intellect to not immediately realize the issue of double-melee against Chaos-especially when I spent last night bitching about them over a failed mission. Vids like these are handy when sprinting at Rubrics to crush them like soda cans has cost me more medipacks and brain cells than I'd care to say. Also nice Pre-Heresy Dark Angels drip on your Bulwark, if that's what you were going for.
A good tip for bosses and rubric marines, plasma hits them like a truck. If you are doing the helldrake mission with a class without access to plasma you are in for a bad time. A fully charged plasma pistol shot will stop a majoris enemy for a few seconds. Very Useful to get that Warrior deathspitter to sit the fuck down while you pull that other warriors bonewhip out of your power armored butt cheeks.
@Lyonatan you need to take into account the spread that boltguns have after that 1st shot. A charged plasma shot is going right where that cross hair is 100% of the time. Not to mention it has splash damage.
Chaos is really the only time I'd recommend stacking Sniper and Heavy. And on Diff 3 or 4 Nids don't be afraid to bring Assault and Bulwark if you have someone playing a dedicated range support role like Sniper or Heavy
The gaming community just needs the power of the imperium, the undying emperor, and all the battle brothers and sisters to flow through them so they can become better space marines.
I've begun to notice the enemies prepare similarly to those in Helldiver's. Versus between both bug enemies I can stand in wide open fields and dominate... however against both ranged enemies sticking behind cover has saved me plenty of times against some of their range... However the key difference is that all chaos enemies try to get into melee range.
Ha I was the guy who said that's totally me. However, I can also recognize this is a team game and tricking my teammates into a false sense of security is not a fun way to play so I try to avoid the high-risk, high reward, playstyle. Ive played enough games like Mass Effect, God of War, and Destiny to know that trial and error on how to be aggressive is only fun for me in single player settings, not so much in groups. I much prefer consistency in this game.
Please. For the love of the Emperor. When fighting Terminus (Mini Bosses), prioritize on fighting it on a wide area where you can dodge and have your team be able to split up to divide and conquer. Istg. The amount of people fighting Terminus on a tight area and then get down 5 seconds later because they can't dodge away which led them being stun locked, is enough to make Cegorach have a tummy ache. FIND A WIDE ARENA TO FIGHT THE THING
10:54 this is a lesson that needs to be taught more, I swear there are so many people who think failure is the worst thing in the world when it's actually the best teacher and all part of the learning process
Had a match with Heavy with H. Bolter/Plasma Pistol on ruthless. Had a rando team of maxed players. Bulwark/Vanguard. They played incredably! They tied up the Majoris while I mopped up. Killed the Hive Tyrant with zero downs and I'm pretty sure I took no health damage due to the gameplay of my teammates.
I think a big mistake newer players make is being scared of melee and running away from enemies instead of being aggressive when they need to, which gets them killed most of the time. While others forget they have a gun and only use their melee weapon, so they get BTFO by ranged enemies who remind them they aren't invincible.
Loving your SM2 content, Jebbles but you’re needed back on the bot and bug front for HD2! Let’s get some vids on the latest update. There’s so many good ones and new roles we can fill well. Medic is actually viable, chemical agent/ exterminator support, pyromaniac, orbital bombardier (the new napalm barrage is the most chad stratagem ever). I miss your HD2 content brother!
Unfortunately, helldivers needs more than one lucky break to prove its worth now. From what I’ve heard, they still haven’t even fixed their issue with the games bugs either. It’s gonna be quite some time before I consider that game in my good graces again.
@@JebblesJunior You're not wrong but don't be so sour! It's still fun and at least they're trying to improve it. I agree with your sentiment though and I sincerely think that if they go nerf again that will be the final nail in the coffin and there will be a final mass mutiny. You should give it a go. Maybe even make a vid on what you just said! I can see a "Jebbles begrudgingly tries the new updates" video. Hope you have a good day and it seems like you're enjoying SM2 - for the Emperor!
Me & my brother have a pretty good combo going, with me as Tactical using the Heavy Bolt Rifle to focus on clearing our the hordes of chaff, while he literally melts the elites as a Heavy with his Multi Melta. I stay near him to keep chaff off him and he keeps elites off me. I use my Auspex to boost his damage output, while he uses his Iron Halo to protest me from elites ranged fire. I have found having a Bulwark with us sends to be the best combo with us so, we we have a powerful melee fighter who can use his banner to heal and regen armour for him and my brother while they get stuck in. I am thoroughly enjoying Space Marine 2. Out of curiosity, we recently tried our first substantial difficulty mission to progress our weapons to Artificer but it was way tougher than expected. The enemies also felt like massive bullet sponges & our health disappeared as if we were wearing toilet paper instead of power armour. Does getting the later perks and higher grade weapons make those fights more manageable? We love the game, but that fight was a test of frustration more than anything.
With the weapons you are using, yes. The multi melta is one of the best guns in the game currently. You may want to switch roles and get a weapon more capable of taking out elites. The melta is much better at clearing chaff than facing elites, even though it can do both.
@@JebblesJunior For the Tactical what weapon would you suggest? We played Substantial again yesterday against the Hive Tyrant level and pretty much rage quit that match. We had a Vanguard with us who did nothing wrong, but my god the match was a test of frustration as even Gaunts would just evaporate our healthbars, there were pretty much no frags or Kraks grenades, no relics & barely any stims and ammo. I love this game, but me & my brother at this point have no interest what so ever in playing the harder difficulties as they just aren't fun. Average is tough, but still fun and you still feel like a super human wearing power armour. What are your thoughts on the harder difficulties? Am I missing something?
I'm worried. I'm a huge fan of 40k, and of your videos. But I'm also a huge democracy fan. I miss your videos on HD2. Any plans on a comeback to try out that new sweet patch ?
You can also survive by queueing up with Henry Cavill because apparently the God-Emperor Himself is playing Space Marine 2.

"Put all of your pain into their soul" Was that a borderlands krieg reference. ;)
It absolutely was.

Its about damage, couple shots to the head staggers everything the same like plasma takes the same time as charging a plasma blast.

Some parts of it might need to be medicated, but mostly what you said.

Good shit! Keep it up, brother!
zoe's shoot four green balls. not three. i do not know why everyone (including me) thought they shoot three, but they do indeed shoot four. sometimes?
I don’t know where the hell the first or last one is going, but I only only ever get three.
I've seen as low as two shots before

Hey Jebbles, what do you think about the bulwark perk that deals damage in an aoe when you block ranged attacks? Is that worth it for chaos missions?
Personally, I find it a lot easier to hit a parry that clears the area and then go back into blocking.

When it comes to Helldivers they need to fix more bugs, I’m still seeing the same problems that I left because of.
Still waiting for the promised private lobbies.
The game has only been out two weeks. It's more than an overnight change.
