I love it when they get caught staring at a computer screen or arguing with each other for a long time in the episode, and get completely off track to the point where it seems like they forgot they are recording or talking to an audience.
In my town there is a large quantity of old people, and on a nice sunny day they probably walk about the same pace as 1 step per second, some even 1 step every 2 seconds, it is quite frustrating.
If this happened in New York City everybody would've just ignored Link and passed by him on the escalator. In the southwest people get so shocked and scared by anything different that they can't even walk past a cute man standing still :) I was laughing throughout the whole thing.

I did not like shopping for school clothes with my mom, because I thought everything looked bad on me and she insisted it looked good. But I knew she only said that because she's my mom.
They should have recorded on a phone. If it was me, I'd probably do this: 1) Take my iPhone and hold it up straight and pretend to take a picture, but I was actually recording. 2) Pretend to press a button then lower the phone. 3) Continue recording with the phone lowered or pretend to be texting. :3

There's some magical things called "stairs." They're sort of like escalators, except they don't move up automatically. Maybe people should try them some time
the slow walking guy you talked about reminds me of a guy that used to walk about Silver Lake(Just south of Glendale and Burbank) and he was like a living monument here. All he did was walk around on Sunset or around the Reservoir while reading a newspaper. There are murals with him on it around and when he died, it was a big upset.
The "crank" calls you two used to do made me laugh. You know why? It made me think of 14 year old Rhett over at Link over at Rhett's house while his big sister is having a sleep over making prank calls to the house and listening to his mad sister yell at them from down stairs. XD I don't actually know if Rhett has a sister, but that is what you two remind me of. Love you two!
It is ridiculous those people couldn't just use the stairs. I'm overweight and I will always choose to walk up flights of stairs rather than use an elevator or escalator. Those things are not meant for people who are lazy. They're meant for people with disabilities that are unable to walk up and down stairs, and people who are carrying large and heavy bags that are difficult to get up and down stairs (mostly hotels). They're not meant for perfectly healthy people to use so they don't have to use their legs.
+Manda Louise Well, in Germany everyone has to stand on the right if they want to stand, and the left is for people to pass by. So if you stand on the left people coming to walk through would look at you rudely like - you're standing on the wrong side which you're not supposed to do! Right side is to stay stationary, left side is to walk through. So left is for people to go quicker. So escalators are not necessarily used by lazy people. They are also used by people who are tired after a whole day of hiking around the mountains.
Perhaps it works that way in Germany, but that's not how it works in an American mall. lol Not entirely sure a mall was the topic of this video, but I made this comment a while ago. Either way, the majority of people who use an escalator in America are in fact lazy people who don't want to make an effort.
