I love purple and green together, especially jewel tones. Your idea for a shawl made of that amazing purple passion sounds lovely. My jaw literally dropped when you held it up, and again when you said they had a green you thought to pair with it. It sounds exquisite.
It's odd that their yarn is so mislabeled, but I do appreciate you being our guinea pig and showcasing these yarns. That duo rayon is definitely my favorite.

That Lumina Rayon... WOW! For starters, I like the "red" color better, and I could be wrong, but it seems to have more "metallic" in it. That's a great price! 💜

It took me a while to figure out their website. But I mostly got it now. Their yarns are very different. Lots of weavers use their yarns. Many seen to be ONLY for dyeing your own. Unless you want natural color. Which I think I would like. But I did get an order of some cool yarns. TFS!! Austin TX USA

Ohhhh beautiful yarn! I went & made a big order. They were out of the metallic 😢 but that's fine, I got some great yarn. The prices depends on the total yards on the cones. Some had options to get a bigger cone, & some only had one option. Ty Crystal! 🌹🌹🌹

Thank you so much for the yarn review. Those yarns are beautiful! I'm also not a fan of scrubby yarn... maybe they need a new ruler, lol. I agree with you those are definitely not fingering weight yarns. I'm glad they are thicker but I'm sure that can be frustrating for weavers who buy them and want to use them on their machines and the yarn is too thick for their projects. Crystal, did you see the spools section, looks like it's thin like thread but they have a pretty one called, Metallic Diva Yarn - Disco Ball, I ordered 1 spool of the diva and 2 of the Fun Multicolored Seeds - Spices and they might be nice accent threads to use with thicker yarns or other thin ones. The sparkly yarn and the blue and purple is really pretty, I wish they had a darker or midtone green to go with that dark Duo purple.

Very thin.
Really thin yarn. Fingering is a 1 weight yarn. Let me know if you'd like to learn more. I might have an old video explaining the weights 😊
The higher the number, the thicker the strand. A 2, is often used for summer garments and 3 or 4 is the size of most yarns we pick up in a “big box” store.
No way that’s a “3” weight. Maybe a “2”.

Love yarn on cones, less tangling, ease of use, but...... I've always found the yarn to be stretched too tight...it has to be rewound to "relax".
Maybe that explains the discrepancy in yard to weight.
