Interesting to finally see an English speaker cover this series. I remember liking watching the 2012-2016 series back when I occasionally visited my relatives in China when I was bored and it eventually ended up becoming one of my favorite series as it had a lot of references to tarot cards and later on stuff of ancient civilizations. I haven't seen the new series just yet to my disappointment with the reboot, though I got to admit the sword launcher of series 6 looks quite neat.
Back in my day beyblades were plastic with metal weights and we could actually inter change beyblade parts. My brother and I would spend hours trying different combos and appearances for them. I miss those beys.
If that one is weird, you should check out ultimate top plate because their Beyblade’s are somewhat like the metal series beys in appearance, and they even have their own show to watch on TH-cam to watch RIGHT NOW!!
I liked the original infinity nado anime. Season 1 was ok, season 2 was lit, season 3 is either mid or amazing depending on opinions. It too bad that after season 3 the nado series is just all over the place.
Same I also liked season 2 and I totally agree with you saying season 3 was all over the place and where kind of suffered from seasonal rot with it being overly comedic though at it least it had a satisfying conclusion where all of the main characters are able to meet up again and regain their memories after being separated in season 2.
I actually like the the Chinese anime. Not the American one. Also you don’t have to worry about losing the key. The launcher works the same way as G1 MS launcher. it doubles as key in case you lose the main.
Now they have ones that can split in 2 to make the battle 2v1, its really cool, you should check it out. Its kinda like a burst, but instead of just stopping, it becomes 2 nados.
i grew up in china watching infinity nado, yes they came out after beyblade as a knock off but i wouldn't consider them to be since they have created tons of super cool mechanics and inventions in their beyblades that make them 100x better than beyblades whom have seem to stay the same with no cool new features or really taking creativity to the max, which is infinity nado. if you look at where they were in the 1st generation to the 3rd which is where imo they peaked it is incredible, the 2nd and 3rd generation infinity nados have so many cool features and really creative parts to them. now you wont find much about infinity nados online since they were never released to the US but there is a infinity nado wiki that coveres most of their cool stuff. i havent seen the new generations 4 5 and 6 but from just the packaging of the toys they seem pretty wack so yeah they really peaked in generation 3 and the toys are 100% better than beyblades. beyblade needs to step it up cuz infinity nado's innovation really puts them to shame
Looked like the nado arena from the commercial was even smaller than that one. But i agree, this launcher would probably work better in a larger one like the spintop battle arena
Honestly, I like their spin pattern quite a bit. It’s too bad they’re all basically the same shape. Might’ve actually looked into it more if they were just a little bit more customizable.
I don't know much about this stuff, but my kids love these swords!!!! My son knows it's not the real deal, but he and his friends love playing with these😁

New? yeah i'm pertty sure they release this kind of Beyblade launcher in china years ago and the price is around 7$ to 40$+ depends on what "upgrade" you bought. the one you bought probably cost 18$ (might be cheaper now due to Inflation) but if you add the taxs and the shiping cost the price is actually quite fair.
Honestly it's worth it if they made the box look pro beyblades. I really loved the light effects but the sword is the withdrawal of these series. The launcher is akwardly bad.

Maybe the toys are not good, but series is actually is. I remember only the 3rd season aired in Hungary about the same time as the first season of the Bakugan reboot and while the Bakugan toys are great the series is garbage. Bakugan was favourite children anime in my childhood so my disappointment became worse when I see a chinese Beyblade rip-off have a good series while Bakugan have an absolute garbage.
