I'm vouching for him, hope he does come out of his brother's shadows
The exact comment I was searching, Brett Lee the GOAT!
Well if you’re backing him, he’s got my vote. Only time will tell.
I came across this other young boy in a small city of Pakistan called Shoaib Akhter. I'm thinking him and this Brett guy might create some ripples in the cricketing world.
@@Stinking82 we can't be very sure.
They have to perform consistently to make there name.
Call me stupid. But surely this video is very old.
I get the sarcasm 🙂
TH-cam is really a time machine.. taking us back to golden era of Aussie cricket
Yes i agree
Seems like yt didn't really like England winning the wc 💀
Honeslty saying australia ka golden era kbhi gaya hi nhi australia is most dominated and most consistent team
@@daredevil2548 agreed
I think golden era of Aussie never ended but only India England and others have come far ahead
Brett Lee looks talented. I am sure he will play international cricket, become a nightmare for batters and take more than 300 hundred wickts in odi and tests.wishing him a splendid career ahead🎉
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
That’s funny man 🤣
You don't even know who he is 🤦🤦
You don't even know who he is 🤦🤦
As an Englishman I remember everyone talking about Warne and Glenn in the 05 ashes but people forget Brett really stepped in when Glenn got injured, bowled like a demon and took some brilliant wickets
I remeber my father what he said when he was bowling at nottigham test(2nd inn). This guy hand is made of high graded ruber that he is bowling 150km's an hour and he maintained that speed all his 12 overs. he took 3 wickets. It was a unbeievable performance.
First Englishman comment under a cricket video stop playing football and start planning cricket please 😭😭😭
I remember Brett Lee getting smashed in that series 😂
Well yeah, but in ''05 Australia still only lost the games in which McGrath didn't play, and lost none in which he played.
Indeed bowled his heart out
It's crazy that Australia's domestic games had similar crowds to international games now
That's why they are never out of good players as people really take cricket seriously
@@rezwan_edit
Nowadays even international games don't have such crowds especially if it's a Test match
And commentary too. See great Bill Lawry was comentating that game.
Not anymore. That can't even turn up for the world cup in their own country 🤷🏼♂️
@@rezwan_edit yu didn't catch the sarcasm, did yu?
Brett lee has great future ahead of him, such a talented young quick-pace bowler- one day he will definitely bowl 161.3 km/h
161.1 km/h
Rooting for Brett, hope he makes it big
This young man has a lot of talent, hope he goes on to become one of the greats of the game .

3:23 "Good judges say, he is the fastest of the Lees"
His talent was spotted early. He went onto to become the fastest bowler in the world and was able to maintain speeds in the 145-150 km/hr range for nearly a decade.
Bowling at express pace puts a lot of stress on the body and its amazing that he took more than 300 tickets in both Tests as well as ODI's.
Second fastest*

@@brethithardShoaib's action wasn't illegal. He has a hyper extended arm and his action was cleared after being reported. It's not his fault that he was born with a certain condition.

He destroys the batting line-up with his fiery pace.
Yes, tendulkar scored a century as well.

I am hopeful Brett Lee will do very well in future. In fact i predict he will make his test debut at the MCG against India and will pick his first test wicket in his first over itself. The batter will be Sadagopan Ramesh.
Waiting for it to happen one day
I am predicting he will be one of the fastest bowlers of his time.
This is a classic video. Great to see young Brett Lee
I wish the young lad best wishes, he seems a very promising fast bowler. Good luck Brett !!!
😂😂😂
Well done, you definitely inspired millions. ❤️❤️❤️
brett lee what an player...icon.❤
Aah, the glimpse of the past, what a time it was ❤️
Fastest of the Lee family ,nah man young man has the potential to be the fastest on earth.
Great information and revealing uprising talent. Timely video to show us about new uprising star. Thanks a ton uploader
I think Brett will be the next best thing in the world of cricket. Needs to change that action i guess.Hope he makes into the international level.Wishing you good luck Brett.
And people think they are a smartass posting comments like these. Downvoted.
I remember Shane Lee as a promising all rounder with an incredibly strong arm. His throws from long Australian boundaries were so fast that even Gillie's hand would hurt collecting them.
He was a cheerful good looking lad with long hairs with an ever smiling face.
This man was born to born fast ❤❤❤❤❤
Good lad, hope he makes it big
Damnnn , thank you fr this
Remebring my school days when Brett Lee debut in 2000 against India and saw him bowiling against pak in Carlton United series

Those kids who grew up watching 2003 world cup surely feared whenever he played against their favourite team.
He can never be as good as Shane Lee. Poor kid!
not only he broke the older brothers shadow he became the most popular face in the world of cricket and became a fearsome pacer for team australia hats off to brett lee
He is so humble
He is one of my favorite bowler
What a promising youngster . He'll be counted in top fast bowlers in coming years.
I feel like I'm his first test match against india he will be very dangerous !!!
A true legend of the game wishing you well Mr Brett Lee
I'm predicting he could be one of Australia's greats he's one of them player's who could take 310 test wickets and 380 ODI wickets or he might be just happy playing for Mosman who knows
Yeah... Not funny

This is pure gold.Thanks TH-cam 👍👍
this young lad looks promising he will definitely become one of the fastest bowler in the world
this was decade ago .lol
I’ll have to look him up on wiki lol
I remember him playing a little one day cricket for Australia, but he disappeared after a few years. But yeah Brett certainly went on to a stellar career.
This Guy has potential to become one of greatest fast bowlers in history, wish him good luck.
Good on ya bud.. you be your own individual and go for it!

That kid Brett's voice is so sweet. He could be a good singer
Once a young rising star shine in the cricket sky has already retired.❤ It saddens me how time passes.😢
Brett Lee ❤
This kid Brett Lee will become greatest feared bowlers of his generation one day... Mark my words.
As if! Slingy action, not very tall... He'll maybe get one Test and 5 ODIs, but that's about it.
All the best to these boys, if the train hard, rest well and eat their greens, I'm sure they could push for a spot one day
I dont think shane took fitness and determination seriously. He played a few one dayers but his bro made immediate international impact. Steve waugh loved having a fast bowling enforcer and lee came along at the perfect time not having to wait for any other true fast greats that kept him out.
Really hope this bloke comes good. Has a lot of potential will be really interesting to see his future.
The charm lee held in his younger days is irresistible ✨
Brett Lee
Legend no doubt

Go on and break those bats.

I don't even remembere bret lee's brother being a cricketer lol
This Brett Lee guy has got a lot of potential... Hope he can make to the Aus 'A' team very soon... Great future is ahead of him.... Hope for the best Brett...
You just know who is great even when they dont know how to bowl properly. Even at this age when his action was nowhere as good as his adult age judges knew he had it in him. You just know who can bowl fast who cannot. Thats god gift. Physique and natural instincts. There must be many players in india similarly but their families just dont care. They push them education and they end being an average joe. If their parents cared enough and put even a bit of an effort they would have won a world cup for india. Its a sad affair. I am one of them sadly. Even without any training I can and have bowled 138 at speed gun with minimal efforts now with my action running and I have sorted my non bowling arm myself I can clock 145 minimum. But parents just dont care. I am 18 now and its over for me. You know what? Even a formal coach said you shouldn't be playing street cricket you should be bowling in an academy. Still my parents didnt care.

And he ended up becoming THE fastest legend 👑
Kudos to cricket Australia for identifying and nurturing such young talents at a tender age and backing them...as a result Lee turned out to be a great bowler
Could be because of the back injury mentioned in the video, but it's quite interesting to see that he was not bowling with his famous action as late as 19 years old!
He entered in international cricket and smashed the world with his pace and accuracy....
Now he can considered as GOAT
Only here for young Brett Lee ❤
only one who can bowl at such express pace with control on line and length
Seems talented. He will be successful, mark my words
Funny that Shane ended up being a pretty average cricketer yet Brett Lee was amazing.
My favourite
I wish the youngster all the best while cautioning him that its a really tough ask to become a fast bowler at world-class level.
Brett lee, remember the name
You will see him on telivision one day
Best of luck to this promising youngster
He goes alright does young Bretty.
I could still remember Brett Lee had side arm action early in his carrier When he played Australia A vs Australia he was bowling with side arm action and got Steven Waugh’s wicket😁
You will find vision of Brett here bowling long before he played for Aus and have followed his careeer since he was under 17. His action here and before has always been a classic coaching manual one.

Brett could only eclipse his brother because Shane went on to star as David Brent in the hit sitcom, The Office UK (2003).
Haha, the exact same thing happened to me and my cousin back in the early 1990s in our backyard. I scored a little over 300 runs that day (But wasn't out 8 times in between) and he scored 0. I still remember him grabbing a nearby bush and angrily shaking the hell out of it.
I hope one day he will become a legend 😀 COMMON BRET LEE.
Id like to see how Brett progressed
Wow!From which underground did they dig this video.Kudos
That time only one man perfectly and fearless faced lee balls, that man Master Blaster
Shane Lee was a fine all-rounder, sadly injuries took toll on his body
His voice is so soothing.hope he sings a Bollywood song some day

Hope he could make space in Australian Cricket team
I miss you S Lee
This guy looks seriously talented. I hope he gets chance in Australian side.
i hope brett becomes GOAT 🐐
Keep practicing in the nets young Bret, and maybe - just maybe - you could be almost as good as your brother Shane.
