I remeber my father what he said when he was bowling at nottigham test(2nd inn). This guy hand is made of high graded ruber that he is bowling 150km's an hour and he maintained that speed all his 12 overs. he took 3 wickets. It was a unbeievable performance.

I dont think shane took fitness and determination seriously. He played a few one dayers but his bro made immediate international impact. Steve waugh loved having a fast bowling enforcer and lee came along at the perfect time not having to wait for any other true fast greats that kept him out.

You just know who is great even when they dont know how to bowl properly. Even at this age when his action was nowhere as good as his adult age judges knew he had it in him. You just know who can bowl fast who cannot. Thats god gift. Physique and natural instincts. There must be many players in india similarly but their families just dont care. They push them education and they end being an average joe. If their parents cared enough and put even a bit of an effort they would have won a world cup for india. Its a sad affair. I am one of them sadly. Even without any training I can and have bowled 138 at speed gun with minimal efforts now with my action running and I have sorted my non bowling arm myself I can clock 145 minimum. But parents just dont care. I am 18 now and its over for me. You know what? Even a formal coach said you shouldn't be playing street cricket you should be bowling in an academy. Still my parents didnt care.
