- In this episode Janes journeys to the Temple of Solusek Ro to figure out what these fancy armor quests are all about. These quests take her to Kithicor Forest, North Karana, Lake Rathe, and the Mountains of Rathe! We also discuss the results of the specialization poll and accept our fate as a battle cleric.

Sumetal is a national treasure. Don't know how much jewelry I've gotten from her over the years. Playing a Solusek Ro wizard now and she made me those sick imbued fire rings. Somehow I knew she was going to be the one to help you there. The "100p per enchant" thing sounded like a total scam, glad you didn't have to resort to that.

As for a sub special idea? Maybe a community meetup with all of us who both play on the server and watch you. Could have a little party and maybe go trash a dungeon or something afterward. :)
Thank you for the kind words, I always enjoy reading your comments and I’m glad the music is noticeable! I am very particular about which music I use and where I place it in a video. TH-cam does do some sort of boosting/compression that I can’t control but I’m glad it comes out ok. I’m not sure how big the community is that watches these but your idea is very similar to something I was thinking of doing to celebrate level 60 😉
@@SageFreke1 True that. By the time you're 60 your following should be much bigger so the idea would probably work better then.

Oh boy. The errand running part of the epic is doable but the raiding parts could be a little tricky
@@SageFreke1 Cleric is one of the easier epics at least. You'll likely have guilds chomping at the bit to help you no doubt, due to Ixiblat's and Ragefire's loot. Plus who doesn't love one more clicky cleric on the server? I think you have a very good shot at getting one. :)

its always fun to hear how others pronounce names in EQ. I always pronounced Najena as Nah G na . Over all good video. I miss playing EQ. No game has ever captured me like EQ back in 1999. My main at first was a Female paladin named Jadelyn. She was one of the first paladins to reach 50 and get their soulfire on Xegony. The paladin class had a great community back then. Whenever a Paladin was working on their soulfire It seemed like every other Paladin showed up to help with the Lucan fight. On a slight different note, if I may make a suggestion for future videos is if you can, maybe take your mic off of the desk since its picking up everything you do and it sounds like you are pounding on your keyboard as it reverbs :P

My p99 playthrough was a necro. Completing ALL the sol armor and weapons felt like a huge accomplishment. Def forced me to explore areas i hadnt spent much time
Hey Freke. How do i get my game to look like yours? Like the Details on the world and NPC models looks newer.. Is it a setting i need to turn on?

For 1k subscribers you should use mouselook and stop beating up your poor arrow keys, save your keyboard and our motion sickness :D

Yeah i cant watch its bad the herky jerky camera. Freke play a FPS with a mouse you'll never go back. I check sometimes to see if you've learned to use a mouse... Not yet.

Classic EQ is like having a brand new car that you refuse to drive and instead choose to ride your BMX bike to work 30 miles because it somewhat reminds you of being younger. It's just such a waste of time. And people actually get max level and then just start over again. What was the point of making your original characters if you were going to abandon them for these irrelevant imposters?

That area under the wizard tower is one of the most interesting parts of the game. I never knew about it until now.

As a Druid main (on the TLP though, not P99) it bugs me that Druid gets no armor quest type stuff in Classic. Nothing in Temple of Sol Ro, no equivalent to Crafted/Ivy, we get screwed :(
On live if you AFK in the firepots eventually Fae comes to kill you.

The thick grizzly bear skins are used in tailoring. They make a reinforced medicine bag that shamen use in potion making, but that is not what makes them valuable. The reinforced medicine bag can be used by anyone as a normal bag. It is a 10 slot bag that holds giant items and has 10% weight reduction. The tailoring trade skill to make them is lower than 10 slot backpacks, too.
Now, P99 sometimes changes things, so it may not be exactly this way.
Regarding the Firepot room / spires - at least on a current TLP server, Faydedar can and WILL agro you if you're sitting in the room. Sometimes you can sit in a corner safely and stay out of LOS but if Fay goes over the hole and you're in there, pretty good chance you get jumped. I'm bound in there on my TLP server with two characters and I bound right next to my starting city pots for a quick and easy escape [it's easy to know if you agro Fay now because of the extended target window].
Really enjoynthisnseries. I know it's time consuming. But, it's distractions like this that help me deal with life.
Also, I love your use of FF3 music in your videos. One of my favorite SNES games growing up
You can split your chat windows up so that things you want to read don't scroll so fast. If you put spell casting messages into its own window your chat messages won't scroll off as NPCs are casting spells
