I always thought Batman Beyond had Aesthetic to it that really made it its own thing also with Bruce being older and Terry having to take the Mantle in a Cyberpunk Neo Gotham, I was hooked on anything BB. The toys from Burger King were the closest to being Batman without having to put a suit on myself! My mother and I passed by a EB games on our monthly Saturday shopping trips, we didn't have much but a trip to Burger King or getting out the house was nice. Instead of passing by EB Games this time I asked if we could go in, she knew she was gonna spend some money, but it was once in a blue moon that I would get a new game, since I replayed a lot of older ones. I got this game right when it came out, I was so into this game as a kid but always had trouble with this game, (this game doesn't play well even if you know what your doing,) I would spend all my time in the time attack modes since I was too nervous to get my ass kicked in the story so I avoided it for YEARS! It wasn't until people were transitioning to PS3 where I started to punch though a lot of titles and this was a big one I had to Beat! I beat this whole game with ease, I used the shields for the most part of the whole game besides parts that didn't require other tools like the wings. Not the most fun way but at least it want frustrating. Sure not the most fun way to play, but the option is there! This game was made "E for Everyone" but should have been made for Ages 10 and Up, or to be honest, Teens and Up, since kids wouldn't have put up with this game! Maybe sometime I'll do a review on this game, what a weird game that not matter how bad it is, it's full of good memories even though the game was shooting for some bad ones!

Least the way Terry dealt with the Joker was much better in this game than it was in the film. In the film except for at least getting maybe four or five hits including him throwing the batarang at the Joker's hand alongside shocking that microchip with the Joker's Joy buzzer, Terry got his ass kicked but in this game he actually defeated Joker and was able to get in more hits without talking or using the psychological beating.
The crazy thing about the arkham asylum part of this game its that originally in the movie, the place did would made a return and Bruce were to Arkham in order so see the grave of the Joker but when he entered the place, his face was in pure terror as Terry saw hin running in terror, then Terry entered the room and saw the courpes of the Joker hanging out of Chains in the ceeling with his pudrid dead smile and a t-shirt in his body that its says: "I KNOW", this part was discarted cause it was to brutal for a teen's movie but the mockups of the concept and the audio recording of that scene are available as deleted scenes in the dvd of Batman Beyond Return of the Joker Extras.

Better than the Nintendo 64 version. The N64 has a bad port, the PlayStation plays better, even the gameboy color is better than the N64 version, In my opinion.

The game is basically retelling the plot of the movie (Batman beyond: Return of the joker) so in a sense the game is canon since the movie is canon, in my opinion the Arkham series is a good place to learn Batman lore since you can find collectibles that give lore about the characters. And no there isn’t a nightwing specific game but he is playable in the Arkham series (in the challenge modes, more specifically Arkham city and Arkham knight)

I genuinely have love for this game(N64) and batman forever(SNES) and batman and robin(PS1)!!! I have fun with these games and think their awesome. Only the .iso from FreeRoms_com worked for me with the PsX v1.13.. I had huge graphical issues with the other emulator epsxe or w/e its called.. Also interesting fact about this game.. 89% of the game size is actually the soundtrack which is in high quality at 1400 kbps :) (If you find any lower, its not original)

would Ubisoft today remake this awful game by fixing all of the problems that this game had when they released it back in the day? to at least make it playable and good. this game could've been so much better, they didn't even bother getting voice actors from the film in this game, just generic text on the screen LOL and the combat sucks even batman returns on snes has a better combat system and overall, a better beatemup game than this game smfh it feels like they rushed this out, so it'll be out the same time as the film. out of all of the unnecessary remakes throughout ps4 life cycle that we've got, this game should've gotten a remake on that console.
