This is exactly what I am doing to my truck! a small repair on my F150 hood and rest of paint is good condition,, so this shows exactly what I want to do,,, thank you so much sir,, for sharing your extreme talent to the public,,,,,, you are a very talented person,,,,,,, wow 😳👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 perfection....,, 🙏🏼🙏🏼👌👍🏼
Good job guess, I could not tell what you were spraying, blend chemical or clear, the only time I knew was when you sprayed the base, then not sure. What pressure? I guess I'm in the wrong level?
There are lot of mistakes ypu have done like after completing one side ..you started spraying clear from the midle of the hood 11:04 ... another mistake...you don't care that clear is sprayed on the edges properly or not...you just cover the edges at last which may result in orange peel on the edges
Superb finish!!well done! which of the products is the blend that you use in the pro lite before the base and which is the code of that? also if it needs to mix it! thank you!
Blender.... Its basically a clear basecoat.. You spray a closed wet coat of it so that the metalics from your basecoat melt into it - instead of landing on top in little unseen dimples & irregularities in the prepped factory paint....
@@thistledewoutdoors3331 thank you sir, does basic clear coat mean only clear without using hardener or special material? because I have heard certain brands specifically for blanders, because they are not available in my country / city.
I have seen so many u'r video, but after looking this one, I just got little smiles.. Because we use the same gun, Devilbiss GTI Pro-Lite, and then Belanova paint 50:50, 35bar air press, 50% overlapping, n for the Clear Coat, I'm using Spies Hecker 8040 75:25, 28bar air press, 25% overlapping With this "marshall" gun, everything's so easy to take.. Devilbiss GTI Pro Lite!!!
@@Luca-lx7ol The blender actually does nothing to blend the color, its just a wet transparant coat you put on, so that paint that lands outside the spot you are aiming at doesnt " sit " on top of the panel. If it does, the paint becomes like fine dry sand, and when you clear coat over it, it looks gritty. Also, like he says, you should stay away from edges when aplying blender. You add more color depth by adding layers, which can make some colors look darker. Its the same for clear coating with some colors, especially if the original manufacter paint has very thin coats, and you paint heavy by comparison. The color doesnt actually change, but your eyes perceive it as such. Its like looking into a pool. The shallow end will appear to have a lighter blue bottom, while the deep end will look dark blue. It's ofcourse all the same when you remove the water.
@@Seneric Thanks for the explanation, when i asked the question i was using Ppg envirobase, now i'm using Standox Standoblue and i can confirm it! Yes I know about that thickness of layer change the color or also metamerism 👍 👍👍 Good job
he shows there, he hits full on the spot and then blends thru the outsides, he makes this steps updown and then from side to side, at the end the hood has the original color on each side/edge whic is color match for the rest of the car paint, he just blends the spot that he paints against the original pain on the hood. He does this from 4:10 forward with the base and then just clearcoat fhe whole hood
Not the way I would have done it , I was starting to cringe with vertical pass one side and horizontal the other. I guess it comes down to what works best for you.
It doesn't get any better than that, you make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing your techniques.

¡ BEAUTIFUL WORK ! Y NO SE LE CHORREA NADA EL CLEAR A PESAR QUE NO LE DA PAUSA DE UNOS MINUTOS DE LA PRIMERA MANO....FANTASTIC.

Please tell me what is your first spray for blend before spray base coat.

It looks absolutely insane. Congrats.
Good to hear😁
very good job adhesion promoter for intermediate layers and vanish with color makes and finally transparent and ready

What is covered before you paint
Mr channel,,why are you not using the (gold) prolite for base coat or clear coat.!!?
Hi, what's the benefit doing it Vertically instead of Horizontally for blending the basecoat?
you sprayed it with some kind of blend in thinners at the start?
He said "1050"
Van you tell me, step by step?
Do you need to mate the element before applying it with a blender ??
Superb finish!!well done! which of the products is the blend that you use in the pro lite before the base and which is the code of that? also if it needs to mix it! thank you!
The blender is 1050
Also can use straight out of the tin,I tend to add 20 percent 6050 or 6052
i love all your jobs
Thanks Ail Ail love to hear that✌

How much filler was hinding under the paint?
Very nice! If you spray the paint without the coat of blender, the paint will be mottled ?
Not necessarily, but blending in the middle of a hood isnt always the easiest. The blending agent just makes the final outcome a little easier.
Ty !

a question please :
What is the method of matching the paint with the rest of the car parts?

I just painted the hood. The color you sprayed is not like the rest of the original car parts What's the solution? ?

O puede solamente ser un blend una capa de pintura ligera para que see vea del mismo color
Chromax Blender, así se llama el producto, no es Bulldog, el bulldog es un promotor de adhesión
