As someone who loves making Pokémon skins, the skin limit was in my opinion the worst thing to come to recode. I had to get rid of practically all my Pokémon skins 😭
I have a personal rule where I cannot play a creature as a default skin Though it is hard on some creatures where the default is absolutely amazing... when all else fails I make a Monster Hunter skin!
i try to adapt my creatures skin to the environment for example for a flower cover skukder i made it very colourful and such and making it overall bright warm and cheerful looking

I’ve made a Slaughterspine Miju skin (machine from Horizon Forbidden West), a Gaismagorm Vahieax skin (monster hunter sunbreak boss), and a Malzeno Sang Toare skin (another MH Sunbreak boss). I think they turned out pretty well
I made a Moondrop and Sundrop skin on the Moonelle species. The moondrop skin was made before precise painting was introduced. I.e. prior to the recode. Both skins also have hard to get palletes, Moondrop takes Vivid Rainbow and Sundrop takes Golden Giftwrap. Sundrop took 30 minutes to make, Moondrop took almost 2 and a half hours. Edit: I also made my AU Criminal Jesters Eclipse on the Xeter using the Demon Pallette (tho it needs to be fixed at some point). And a Kanto Sandslash on frigli using a Desert pallette. I always love to make skins. I hope sonaria will one day removed the Cap on how many skins we can save.
I like realism, I mostly try to avoid all of those kind of skins,, i mean- uh, they're very well made! But i just think it breaks the feeling of "oh yeah im a monster, i wlll survive, i will kill muahaha" or "im an animal grrr" (IDK HOW TO EXPLAIN PROPERLY LMAO-) it turns more into a "oh im an OC, or a character from a series, ill just sit ln oasis and chill wahh" it just doesnt feels... Like it makes sense??? Uh... Eh... Nice video-
To be fair, I don't think making skins ruins realism at all. The skins based off a fandom such as a book series or show come out really nice, and, in my opinion, it can show great creativity! I get what you're saying, though since the recode survival has been more interesting so far.

As a professional, I took the idea of haku dragon And I upgraded it, I made shadings to the horns, layers of the belly, and extra detail on head and fur

I made the pomni and grim reaper skin :] and ima be honest if it weren’t for my friend then I would have only added the cuxena but I’m glad it made it in the video
Here is a tip. When using another colour palate then the default x out the palate after you put the colours before you spawn in. You will keep the colours without using the palate. Have used it several times
Dang, i wish i knew about rhis. I have a Glamrock Freddy Ardor. I used to have a Roxanne Wolf Emphine too. I do have a Moon keruku, and i had a Montgomery Gator ken but i need to remake that one thanks to the remodel. I had a Glamrock Chica fyluf too.

Godzilla in minus one doesn’t have green skin is black to make him look like what skin looks like after being hit by something like a nuke. So he is supposed to look like his has radiation burns so the skin here is close and actually accurate.
