Hi Todd!!! Nice to see more stuff from 2006/07 too.... the 200's wasn't a great period at least for me to pick up newer releases, checking my collection i don't have that much (21 cds) and my highlights have to be "A Matter of Life and Dead" and a couple more.... cheers and be well
Very true. Nu metal and modern metal kind of ruled the airwaves. I'm not talking bad about any of those, but personally I don't think a lot of those bands have any real staying power. A matter of life and death is Iron Maiden? They did put out some pretty good albums in the early 2000's.
Great picks for 2006 and 07 Todd! Love Killswitch Engage, As daylight dies is a great album but not my favourite of theirs. Christ illusion I think is the best Slayer album of their modern period. I'd like to check out some Jungle Rot and still not listened to any Suffocation! Those Municipal Waste and Evile albums are fantastic, some of their best work! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@ToddGuyTheThrashingZombie Ah ok that's fair enough, I love all the Killswitch albums. Jessie and Howard I like equally, but I understand some prefer Howard. Yeah, Christ Illusion is awesome, definitely need to get it in my collection! One of the few Slayer albums I don't have 🤘🏻🤘🏻

I haven't been able to get into any Killswitch outside of the Howard Jones albums. Christ Illusion is a fantastic album.
