This guy is excellent. I love his monotonous delivery, cynical attitude, pedantry and informed commentaries. Plus the act is really slick and well edited. To American audiences he is more friendly and laid back which is cool too, but his act seems more interesting and refined here.
I'm glad a lot of people are enjoying this, but as a big fan I think this is one of his weaker performances. I guess he had to cut a lot of his usual polished US-centric material since he's performing for British audiences, so his usual top notch delivery and timing were a bit missing (in my opinion anyway).
Hari Kondabolu's one of my new favorite comics! He's hilarious and witty as hell, and I love W. Kamau Bell's Totally Biased which he writes for. Everyone who enjoyed this should find it on FX, it's pretty awesome.
He's actually a douchbag calling all Americans racist. No one in New York asks someone where they're from because they aren't white. That's all they'd be doing.
@@manashdb the essence of him is funny, his timing and delivery is good, but he attaches a crowd-pleasing, woke, leftist approach to almost anything he does. He can't even handle a light-hearted, classic, funny stereotype of an Indian cartoon shopkeeper without being offended. (A comedian getting offended, now that's irony). He's an advocate of cancel culture, just because it's something he doesn't find funny. That's why he's a bellend
You can't be born as a Hindu, Hinduism's a religion not a race or ethnicity. You may have been brought up as a Hindu but that doesn't mean you were born that way. Moreover, why assume something like that when he's specifically said otherwise? That's more than offensive, it's just stupidity. There's nothing at all to suggest that he means what you assume he does.
It is offensive to call someone an atheist if they're not an atheist. It's like calling someone a man if they're a woman or, indeed, Muslim when they're Hindu. However, the offensiveness of it is overwhelmed by the sheer stupidity of it and seeing as you thought it was possible to be born a certain religion, clearly that isn't exactly idiosyncratic for you. Moreover, my original comment said was how refreshing it was to see a comedian talking about religion without forcing atheism down people's throats and your attempts to do just that, whilst cute, are not going to be successful. I suggest you stop going out of your way to offend people and keep your bigotry to yourself.
+जितेन्द्र गुप्ता what the hell are you talking about i am from Hyderabad telagana, India. born and brought up there. and no its not a problem at all living in a mohammedian society not being a muslim. not everyone is like you buddy
I loved that the vocabulary changed even with the "V-ee-tamin water" plug. Supermarket, advertisement... As someone who has to dangle between British and American English - "Best commercial ever!" sounds so much better!
