Get your heads out of your arses !!!!!
You allow the kids to be raised in a world of "accepted violence" ... SOME of those kids are NOT going to know the difference between what has been allowed to learn and what's not allowed.

Well he is also a liar and a murderer, he lied to the police about his online comments regarding a mass shooting, he lied to his father so he could have access to a weapon, that has no practical use in our society, he planned and carried out a mass shooting. If she put more of her efforts into be being a mother instead of a drug addict maybe this wouldn’t have happened because she would have been there for the shooter. I think she meant that it doesn’t make a difference if you convict the parents of the shooter, in the sense of stopping future incidents. In which I can agree if it’s something done without the parents involvement. In the crumbly case and in this case where the parent chose to get their son a weapon, they are involved so charging them are the right decision (imo) and can absolutely make a difference in the choices of other parents in the future- so she’s wrong

Bottom line the parents need to make sure the guns are locked up so that no one can get them. They also need to make sure their children are getting counseling, etc., for the children instead of ignoring that they need mental healthcare. The Crumley’s neglected their son. he begged for help and nobody helped him. Basically they made fun of him for asking for mental health. So yes, they did not do their job by taking care of their son. It has been said out there on the news that this boy actually asked for mental healthcare and was ignored. Bottom line again, “lock up those guns!”

Shannon appeared to be very young and inexperienced. I watched that whole trial. She was waaay in over her head. And her idea that convicting parents responsible for these shootings is so wrong in so many ways. The father, in both cases, bought their mentally unhealthy, unstable boys, a gun! What else do you want to hear? That’s it, Dad, you are going down with your kid.

Unfortunately for the rest of society those parents who refuse to behave with common sense have now become a danger because of the reckless decisions they make regarding weapons. I can’t stand this attorney for the Crumbly’s she is obviously so thick headed that she fails to realize that she lost her case. I watched that trial and this attorney is still defending that argument that parents should not be held responsible for the actions of their dangerous minor children. The rest of society disagrees . To many school shootings could have been prevented by some adult in the picture who purchased a weapon and gave it to their psychopath kid. When their kids needed to be treated by a mental health professional. Like you said mental health treatment is necessary, guns are not.

Should **Parents** be pursued by LE in Similar situations such as this? My answer is **YES** but I also think it should be on a Case-By-Case basis. In this case, it’s CLEAR Negligence on the Father’s part for going out and Purchasing a Semi-Automatic weapon to give to his son for the purpose of “deer hunting” when he KNEW his child was the victim of bullying at school. Mister Gray actually SPOKE WITH and was WARNED BY the fbi concerning **troubling and Threatening things** that his son had previously said in Reference to that school.

This includes, in this case, adhering to the agreement made with the police to lock up weapons. Instead, the father gifted his child one. The kid needed mental health care. The parent should have ensured he got it. Also, parents need to work with schools and TALK to their own kids. No excuses for the dad is OK here, IMO. I can see why the father was arrested, and I hope both father and son, if found guilty, are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
