I believe this was in response to the rapper B-Free telling Suga and RM that they were sell outs for becoming idols. He said they were like girls because they put on make-up before going on stage, and their status as underground rappers before becoming members of BTS was essentially gone.

I have been listening to 'The Last' and 'Snooze' this whole week, hoping Yoongi is taking this in stride and that he has some support where ever he might be. I’m silver ARMY and my past me used to hate rap, then BTS came into my life and I found rap with intelligent lyrics, great music and wonderful people from an altruistic group of 7. I believe this was in response to the rapper B-Free telling Suga and RM that they were sell outs for becoming idols. He said they were like girls because they put on make-up before going on stage, and their status as underground rappers before becoming members of BTS was essentially gone.

I can’t stand all this hate for someone who wrote songs to comfort people like Snooze, but the moment there is the slightest error in judgment, he gets hated on. I think maybe those people forgot that this is also Suga, and he has no problem letting his haters know that they are shit, and that his fans will always be there for him. I have been listening to 'The Last' and 'Snooze' this whole week, hoping Yoongi is taking this in stride and that he has some support where ever he might be. I love that man like my own son, so I'm worried for him and the crazy way South Korea likes to flagellate its Entertainers like they owe them anything, whether they have actually done anything or not. It's sickening and I have watched it over and over again over the years - they don't even care that the suicide rates for actors and idols is absolutely insane. Both the media and the Saesang fans need to be held accountable for the rubbish they spew on the daily - Sorry, will stop ranting now. Suga went out with friends, had a good time and had the good sense not to get into a car and risk his or someone else's life. He was on a freakin' electric scooter (no different then the one I bought for my Grandson) and he fell trying to park the thing in front of his house - no cop in any other country would care. It helps to understand why they wrote some of their songs.

They were publicly attacked for being idols, were told that wearing stage makeup made them girls and they weren't rappers. It is still something that upsets ARMYs to this day. I’m silver ARMY and my past me used to hate rap, then BTS came into my life and I found rap with intelligent lyrics, great music and wonderful people from an altruistic group of 7. Daechwita, Haegeum, and Amygdala. Yoongi is a musical genius. He writes, performs, and produces his own songs and videos.

His parents were against it, the underground rap world turned against him, literally every other kpop group and fandoms were against them, and even their own country downplays their success....to this day!
