@TheDilweed thanks. And as I said “I can see…” implied I wasn’t stating a fact, just a guess, so no need to laugh, bit thanks for pointing me in the right direction nevertheless.
Question: Are the drive sprockets different sizes or the same? I don't know why they'd be different but I've been watching several videos like this and they all look like two different sizes.
The cv axle hubs are hardened steel, and will not hold up as the welds are now brittle. Also, the wheel hubs should have been mounted flush, not elevated for strength.
The sprocket centering idea was top notch
Agree, I came here to comment this.
I enjoy how you guys make stuff. Shows people that you don't need fancy CNC to make cool stuff.
Full on hardcore old school mode!
I mean, being good at welding is as difficult to obtain imo, but I get what you're saying
It's not hard to weld
That's so freaking awesome!
Haha for sure
This is awesome. I can see the first ever prototype of the original skid steer being made in a similar way.

This is awesome, I was thinking of building a small loader for a garden tractor, but something like this would be even better.
Same
Excellant, So glad to see a project truly documented! You have a great problem solving brain!
Eu fico feliz e agradeço por compartilhar. Principalmente pela descrição do motor hidráulico orbital. Vida longa e prosperidade
I know its complicating but it would be cool to make a tank.
It turns out riding lawnmowers make pretty decent tanks. Burbon moth did one.
Awesome 👍 love it.🙂
