Seriously this happens every summer all over the country- Langerado, Allgood, Starscape ect ect ect. One year I camped next to a lawyer married to a kindergarden teacher at Allgood. I even ate Blotter with em. You never would guess who theyll be :^) this song kinda makes me wanna cry because of all the amazing beautiful experiences Ive had from the most unlikely people. Its heaven to be with 30,000 people in the mountains, no cops, all just being themselves for four days...July wont come 2 soon!
gah watching the ordinary everyday family turn hippie. allgood=home=heaven. The freedom to be you and to meet so many people just being them. Teachers, Lawyers, designers, doctors, musicians, artists, even some cool officers- diversity thrown away! at one point in my life I felt like such an outcast, i kno im ramblin-you just never know who people rlly are till you see them cut the chains, its so unreal, my heart hurts jus thinking of the 600 acres full of tents just being one big family. PEACE
last one i swear- if you dont believe tru hippies still exist please find a festival(drugs def not required) Its about self discovery and the love for eachother and the planet. The 60s cldnt have been wrong about everything. Dont think just go. Id go even if it was by myself.....
@wvboarder2005 a few years ago I even had a doctor see my G-dead necklace and say dont lose myself as an in-society outcast. no worries- its the break that everyone needs more than theyll admit.... Blew me away the first year now I cant believe that was over 5 years ago and it sucks that were all forced to hide but its so amazing and mind expanding to see everyone transform into a family as soon as you hit the dirt road. Its not about the drugs- its about the peace love and equality.
I heard this on the radio and didn't think I had heard it correctly... but he is indeed "tired of codin' Perl and tired of VBA". I like the song even more now. Still, I think the actions in the song and video are exactly the opposite of giving up. Best of luck with the homesteading!
Have to admit thats true- That show rocked! Hey I met you there, membr?...me and my girlfriend were first in line and you gave me a smoke...I took your pic with David and Johnny and you took mine with Sam...howd they turn out..?
This is the kind of love I want. Man, I miss seeing Cracker live in person.
Now this is music. Not only that, this is real country. Anyone who says they don't like country should hear this song.
Well it's more country-rock.

Me too. Goose bumps.
I'd love to know the places that they filmed this. The cabin is a gimme but the others are so interesting.
Under budget music videos for days. Just the way I like it.
