Silica in this game is refined from Quartz, since you have quartz already running to a forge, that forge is full of silica. A large portion of the population in generations younger than 50 identify themselves as having OCD, while only a small fraction of them actually do. "being annoyed or bothered if something isn't just right" is no OCD, and the common application of the term diminishes the struggles of people who actually have it, because it's "oh everyone has it"
Z1, I'd suggest that you output from the Forge into a DUAL Input/Output Storages, then output from EACH side to a Part Producer. From the Iron Ingot Storage: Part Producer 1: Iron Plates Part Producer 2: Iron Rods From the Copper Ingot Storage: Part Producer 1: Coper Plates Part Producer 2: Cables The Rock just gets turned into Cement, which is good enough for now. The Part Producers should go into Dual Storages, as you'll need to output to multiple Assembers for the next tier of objects. The next tier would be things like Beams, Filters, Rotors, Gears, etc... Also, in the Demo, Sulfur was NOT a finite resource. There were mineable nodes of Sulfur on the Second (smaller) Island. I set up an Advanced Miner over there, used the Roller Vehicle to build a land bridge between the Islands, and then Conveyors to move them over. I had people suggest just building a Warehouse with the Sulfur in it, as that would make it available "world wide", but I never went back to it. Instead, I built a Rocket and moved the moon, which did away with The Wave. Once that was done, I really never went back into that game. The Saves are NOT compatible between the Demo/Prologue and the full release, especially as the full release added some Ores and changed some recipe's to use those new Ores...
You are OCD as hell, that's not a horrible thing, it's very relatable to a lot of us and one of the reasons I love your content! I also do things that might seem silly to some just because they make me happy...it's my game after all.
Your reach on this game is insane, also don't forget your drone can also mine and has insane reach, you can mine and interact with stuff from way further away than most games, if it pops up you can interact
Wait, what? Your drone can mine? I keep finding things I missed all along. In this video I saw moving all resources of the same type at once and dragging the foundation to make multiple at once, and now I learn about mining from the drone in this comment. Hell, I didn't know I could build from the drone until yesterday!
My suggestion is make one of everything. Making certain items will unlock more build recipes. I’m working on automating everything and putting them into large warehouses. Which you still need to unlock that way you can access items from anywhere on the map. There are so many minerals to mine including sulphuric there is a node up to the right of you base in the hot area. You can get there at night when it’s cooler
Do you have oxygen? The right answer ist yes and no. You have oxygen around your base and there your tanks even get slowly filled again, but when you leave the vicinity of your base it is the same barren land as in the beginning and you will soon suffocate. The storage is too big? Wait what is next coming. By the way just build casually the tier 2 storage. You can disassemble it afterwards again. It is just to get new options. Huge options in many ways. It can do so much more but it is huge.
That's pretty cool. I was thinking at first this is just another copy of Planet Crafter, but I appreciate the base setup is more like No Man's Sky, and I like that you can fertilize the soil, whereas in the Planet Crafter what turns green turns green and the desert stays desert no matter how many flower and tree growers you place. I might actually get this game.
Always automate your base materials first. everything else is built with them. then automate the next step up. strong foundations are the most important aspect of a proper base. PS. no you aren't going to want to put everything in a box, your going to want to put everything into a huge 4 belt warehouse so you can access everything in it, without always having to go get the supplies from a box, when building new things. PPS. don't build it over or too close to anything. it will bury anything too close, or under it. And its no fun trying to dig out from that. granted it would be a great way to level out the ground. building and destroying those warehouses, as the foundation of earth its built on, are huge and get left behind after deconstructing them. Cheers.
hmm Im kinda wondering if you're able to dig a hole to reach the water? If you visit 27:33 it looks like water. So could you essentially dig under and place a pump there?
@Kage848 You have trees YES!!! But not oxygen! The Planet Analyzer will tell you that it is not yet earth-like so don't lose your air tanks just yet. You can place your windmills in the water offshore since you never have to connect anything to them and free up some of the land space around your base. Then daisy chain all your pumps along the shoreline with pipes and pipe hubs to come off of to the greenhouses and other various machines that need water. Then you can unlock the steamroller to flatten the ground for building. There's also a Tunnel drilling car you can use to make perfect straight tunnels across the map. In your suit, the accessory slots will be needed for a A/C unit to keep you cool in the hot regions and a heater to warm you up in the frozen areas and a Radiation shield for the radioactive areas too. Sometimes you will need to double them up for extra hot, cold, or radioactive areas. But first, you need to build a Material Analyzer and analyze stuff to unlock all the afore mentioned goodies.
You don't have the tools to fix the terrain (there's vehicles to flatten or smooth the terrain, raise or lower, and tunnel through it -- and that's only what I unlocked so far), and the starting location sucks anyway. You should use the starting location just to get the resources necessary to find a better location -- the power cells to the starship, to be more specific. And when you unlock the warehouses you'll need a ton more space anyway. So, in my opinion, plan on discarding the base at the starting location and don't OCD about it.
Kage: I have to make three O2 bottles, so I have a ton to breathe. Also Kage (25 video minutes later): Wait I now have unlimited O2?! Now you can go back and make 3 energy packs!
That's only in the immediate surroundings, not the whole planet. Or even a measurable fraction of it. I have it in four locations and it still shows as 0 in the planetary analyzer.
Nice work. I’ve found you can farm everything. I set up a large and wide foundation and set up one furnace for each resource and split each to a container for bars, one for plates and one for rods, for example
@Kage848 hold ctrl? or alt? (idr which) to make conveyors go straight.. also i do lengths of 150 plates and it deleted the entire length not sections of it

Kage, not Z1, but yeah. V2 containers to let you split the ingots.

Kage in the Analyzer in Next Objectives - there is a production path to build Vehicle Energy Cells to power your spaceship.
That clown horn sound throws me off every time I hear it.

V2 container has 2 inputs and 2 outputs. You could input ingots and output to two different parts producers

yes you can Farm sulphur i'm farming sulphur
I feel ya bro. Id move my whole shebang just to not have to see that thing in the air 😂😂😂
i have conveyors going through huge mountains from the other side of the map.. had to build bridges to get the conveyors over the water lol

Kage we was getting worried!
Were, not was.
@@JalekNordin-s9n Really?
This game requires a lot of gathering resources at the start. this game is a nightmare for impatient people.

Congratulations on getting trees
More Eden Crafters....
I'm buying now
Can u dog down and lay the pipes then put a floor block on top to hide them
@Kage848 hold ctrl? or alt? (idr which) to make conveyors go straight.. also i do lengths of 150 plates and it deleted the entire length not sections of it
After watching literally 100’s of your videos I can say with 99% certainty you have OCD lol
Are you ever gonna play The Infected again?
i am having Ghostbuildings does anyone know a fix? i few people are having them mostly with the warehouses
BIG UPS
to much OCD 😪
you shoud be way fast without
My brain hurts u Def have ocd
