I like it too. It’s so exciting to see the solo work of all the members. I was wondering how they each find each other. I had never hear of Tae… (can’t remember spelling), but I like him. Absolutely darling, cool song, beautiful to look at, great voice. He and Jimin go well together. Of course, Jimin, his beautiful voice and all else he has to offer is just a bit hard to beat. So precious.
We watched a dream come true for our Jimin. Little Jimin back in debut days has said about Taeyang being his idol and would want to meet/work with. This is Taeyang return after military service and being married and becoming father.

I didn’t know all of this as BTS was my introduction to K-pop and I have almost exclusively followed them and gone down the rabbit hole of all of their media and there is so much and I love them so much, it’s tough to look into other idols, however, through their collaborations and watching reactions I have been introduced to other idols and, of course, I then start down the rabbit hole of this idols. I’ve just started exploring Taeyang and Big Bang’s work and am enjoying it very much. Thank you for sharing this information. I find interesting and helpful.

Also note Taeyang is from top KPop group Big Bang (check out Ringa Linga) they are 2nd generation Kpop & BTS is 3rd generation. So BTS fan boys Taeyang he was big while they were in middle/high school. Check out Sugas show episode 3 with Taeyang as his guest. Oh & he is also known as Youngbae (his name Dong Youngbae)

Big Bang debuted in 2006 and have since become legendary in Kpop. Big Bang’s members are no longer idols they are now icons. Suga recently did an interview with Taeyang and he was giggling like a little fan boy. It was adorable. In their earlier stuff Big Bang did a lot of EDM and other kids of dance music. They were also the ones who really went over the top with crazy outfits and hairstyles. It was like if Lady Gaga were five Asian men. Since then though, they have branched out and done a lot of different stuff both solo and together. There are a couple of songs off their album that was released almost a year ago that I absolutely love.
Thank you for sharing this information. It is just through this collaboration that I have been introduced to Taeyang and Big Bang. This information is enlightening.

So awesome! Why am I remotely surprised by how amazing this song is. And, our Jimin shines so beautifully. At this moment I cannot recall the name of the other artist and I cannot go look or I will lose everything I have written so far, but, he is has a great voice, vibe and is nice to look at. I imagine it must be a challenge to collaborate with Jimin. The must have healthy self-esteem to do so, because, there is the risk that Jimin will steal the hearts of his fans. Together, they can rule the world.
You are cute but Taeyang has 3 solo albums and solo world tour , apart from his work with BigBang . He can deal with anything and BigBang does not mind people be multifandom . 😊 They once said " you can leave if you want but we will make such good music you will always come back" .

I missed this one. I think the live, acoustic version of this is SO much better than the studio version. Also, if you want to hear Taeyang, I suggest "Eyes, Nose, Lips" or, if you feel like crying, "Wedding Dress." There is an English version of Wedding Dress. If you like R& B Taeyang is your man . He made the genre popular in Korea . He debut in 2006 in group BigBang . They are the idols of idols, BTS included. BigBang played a major role in transforming kpop into what it is today . First rapline , first to make their own music , first to win an international award MTV Europe 2011, proved solo careers are possible without disband. They gave idols the possiblility to be artists not just company puppets. They have been in hiatus for 6 years do to mandatory military service of members, covid and scandals. They are not perfect idols but more like rockstars. Members are coming back now with solo plans . Taeyang is the first . This is just a taste . The favorite song of Jimin by Taeyang is Wedding Dress. The most famous song is Eyes Nose Lips . 99% of BigBang MVs have no subtitles, there fan made videos with sub that you can maybe watch after . Bigbang and the members are best in live performances, concerts. Dorian Gray TH-cam chanel has a great performance of Taeyang with "This ain't it "at his Rise concert in Seoul 2014 with subtitles. There is also the BigBang shows at MAMA Awards 2010, 2014 with subtitles and explanation of the word play in lyrics. BigBang singing Tell me goodbye at Japan Dome Tour 2014-2015.
