Well, that was a shock. As much as I love Thesis, I honestly think he didn't quite bring the energy and consistency on the beat that Niek did. But hey, a good battle is a good battle, and at least this was arguable - I hate obvious blow outs.

I think both Thesis and Niek have a great balance of musicality and moves. Great final!
Dope battle! I honestly felt niek did better. He came in harder and every one of his moves was on point! Although Thesis had musicality, his moves didnt stand out like Niek's; thesis seemed to be a bit relaxed in his moves! Just my opinion. Round for round, Niek took the first 2 rounds and Thesis took the 3rd. Good battle tho!
Niek was on point and on beat through his rounds and then they switch to an awesome beat and thesis wins the last round and the battle, not fair!

what i really like about thesis, despite beeing damn good, is: he never signed to red bull, monster or whatever bullshit there is! Huge Credit for that, he stays on top for pure skills.

Thesis also made it to the quarterfinals in the 3v3. He burned alot of his good rounds in those battles. Incredible how he still had gas left to win this let alone enter.

Niek was so clean but he lacked in some strong flow or blow-ups
Thesis had water flow, his sets were unbreakable and like one continious flow; plus he had some very original transitions like in the very last set
I think it's 2:1 for Thesis, tiebreaker would be out of line imo

This. Thesis remembered it's a dance. Not about the moves. He flowed in and out. Niek had cool moves for sure but he didnt connect to the musical better than thesis.

I was here. The crowd was hyped for Thesis all night. He was putting in major work in the cyphers, nobody was touching him that night. Y'all don't even know though saying Niek gets no respect from outside his country? He was loved in the cyphs all night, if you weren't there I could understand how you feel online but that's not true. You had to be there, plus people were straight winded in between battles to be super hyped each time.

Thesis is so dope here, I just feel like he needs more punctuation in his rounds. A few good freezes in the right places would make him stand out more, to me.
