Amazing that we made this final......well all the kids are now playing basketball down here in New Zealand....ironic that a country that has rugby as it's national sport is taking up a sport that was originally created as a training game for rugby!

She definitely is. She won the 3x3 event of the Youth Olympic Games in 2018 and played 3x3 again at the Pan-American Games in 2019. Unfortunately she was unavailable to play at the U18 World Cup :-S

The narration leaves a lot to be desired. So boring.
The score keeper screwed up also. The score was 13-8 in favor of the USA. when new zealand missed a 2 pointer the U.S. got the ball in a scramble for it. They then proceeded to score in the inside to male it 14-8 but the score keeper didn't put it up. New Zealand then made a 2 pointer & the score was put on the board as 13-10 rather than 14-10.

That's not a travel. She pivots and can jump of the other foot. Travelling is putting the pivot foot back down. This is one of the most misunderstood moves in basketball. Best regards, 400+ game referee.
@@TheChessViking So you can lift your pivot foot off the ground as you plant with the other one to jump. I thought you needed to at least jump with both feet, otherwise you are effectively using your free foot to establish a second pivot for a moment, then lifting the actual pivot foot up. What's the point of having to keep the pivot in place is you can lift it AFTER you move with your other foot and leave the ground?
I read up on this, I guess you can as long as you don't come down with it. so in essence you could lift your pivot and keep it off the ground for who knows how ling and it won't be a travel just yet. Never knew this.
They miss so much, specially 3 pointers 🤷🏾♂️
