Just got a Neewer "1.33x" anamorphic lens, and despite some other youtubers claiming that the Neewer would really be 1.33 unlike the Skyreat branded one, I cannot confirm that. The Neewer lens seems to be something like 1.2x, just like the Skyreat here in this video. I don't know, maybe the Neewer branded lenses are randomly different and some lucky people have got an actual 1.33x.
I've watched this a number of times now, and it's very intriguing. What I'm not sure of - when you do the "mega wide" trick, by shooting in Wide Lens, process with ReelSteady, and desqueezing, do you also set the Zoom to 1.1? I see you do it, but I don't hear you mention it. I tried with Zoom set to 1.0, and there is still some lens visible in the shot Thanks!
Why does reel steady take away the bars when I stabilise the footage from my GP12 with skyreat lens. It automatically Desqueezed it, but I want the bars.
Could you just list all suggested settings in one place? I.e., I'm totally new to this thing and when you say Reel it triggers nothing in my mind, I had to google to realize that this yet another piece of sotware I need to buy.
I have watched you video several times and I have yet to find out what setting you use in ReelSteady to export your anamorphic stabilized clip for use in PP or DaVinci. It sure would be a great help to me and others as you have done a great job otherwise. All I can find in RS is 16:9, 21:9, 4:3, etc. So, export in what ratio so you can bring it into your video editor. Thanks so much
I have tried only the linear mode with this new version - th-cam.com/video/RYSIdlGboSg/w-d-xo.html (5% stab) Haven't had a chance to test the 5.3k wide one...
in another vid, they said there is a way to put on the sense. Skyreat label should go on top and anamorphic label should go on the bottom when installed. I had it backwards. Does anybody know why?
thanx for the great review … do you know if the Inkee Falcon or the hohem isteady pro 4 can handle the NEEWER 1.33x Anamorphic Lens or might it be too heavy ?
Yes yes i found 1.2:1 far more realistic than 1.33:1 thanks for confirming for me. I too took a photo of some thing round and adjusted the image to suit that circle.
Good video! really like your content! and what a grea tool to add for the Hero 10! Think maybe the solution for ND filter in front could be a TPU 3d Print? not sure if you allready got it fixed, but I just ordered this and will try make a mount for the ND filter :) Have a great day!
Bro so help me out idk what I did with my settings but now I can’t get this effect where it looks like it’s shown in a theater when I play my videos I don’t get the black spacing anymore
Those are anamorphic lens flares, this lens is all about those flares. If you are looking for something else, there is that wide angle lens by gopro. I think it’s called Max mod. Or something like that….
Hey man, thanks for this amazing video, I believe it's one the most learning videos... I have just a question because I have been confused at the end... So to achieve the best wide wide video... the idea is to have Lens = Wide, Zoom = 1.1... the apply RS and the desqueeze in post right?
Hi there. Question... that 1.33x versus 1.21 looks to be happening in other lenses as well, right? I have an anamorphic lens from neewer and it is exactly the same. It says 1.33 but in Premiere... it becomes natural with 1.21
Agree about having GoPro anamorphic lenses with the ND filters feature possibility :) Thanks for the wide trick, didn't think about it. I'm going on with the latest anamorphic from Neewer, which I really appreciate the anamorphic flare. Shall compare with the Skyreat too. Cheers ! :)
Hi ! I've tried the wide stabilization settings, how do you do your framing (composition) with the wide mode to have everything in place as you wish ? Just refering to the grid ? Cause find it hard when shooting pan to deal with horizon and framing elements especially in pan shots. Or do you use this only static for your drone shots ? Thanks in advance for feedback ! Neko
This idea came to my mind a few hours ago so I’m just starting to research into it. It seems like the edges are so soft that there’s no real purpose for the extra width apart from the cinematic vibe.
Well, if you upload gopro video to youtube, it is kinda pixelated and choppy, as you see from the drone shots and tree branches are crap. I have tested a lot and found, that if you export to HVEC h.265 instead of h.264, it improves picture quality a lot in youtube!
I wish I could have enough money to hire you to make a little video of me living in the hills in Texas, iv been playing around with the GoPro 9 but I'm an old guy and don't understand too much of new technology and I know whatever video I'll make vit won't be as good as you can, but for now I'll be looking at your videos and try to learn, thank you very All your time.
Why im i still getting the shadow of my lens left and right side even with these settings? I have a gopro 11. Can someone kindly reply with all settings to avoid this using the lens please? Thks
Bro I'm trying not to buy anything else and now this!!! You will make my wife kill me this week!!! 😁
Is it possible to get an ND filter on it or create motion blur another way?
I just bought the GoPro10 and the ReelSteady plus the anamorphic. They should pay you a commision for you great video.

ratio changes on how close you have camera to the subject on these type of adapters
I'm new to this kind of lens. Is there a lens to make the picture wide like in your video, but without the flares?
How do you change settings from 1:33 to 1.2.1 on Adobe premiere.?

Outstanding stuff ! 👏
Thank u ill go over this again
Thank you, great info, super appreciate it
Nice! :)
Happy to hear that! :)
great video, I'm all in with the Ana Morphik lol
Looks great, thx for the info. Another thing to consider 👍
No problem 👍
Always enjoy your content! Please tell me which mount you use for the GoPro on the Pavo30. A link would be highly appreciated!
Tanks. This is the video I was looking for 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👍🏻👋🏻

Great video! Have you tried the new Reelsteady 2.0 with current settings?(5.3k wide 1.1x crop no hypersmooth)
Is it still usable? or any changes should be applied?
I have tried only the linear mode with this new version - th-cam.com/video/RYSIdlGboSg/w-d-xo.html (5% stab)

have you ever tried it with gyroflow?
Yes!
How's the Ratio Resolution? It's perfect view 👍
I don't really know :D
Something wide.
what about GyroFlow ? )) how use this program with gopro and anamorph ? )
thanx for the great review … do you know if the Inkee Falcon or the hohem isteady pro 4 can handle the NEEWER 1.33x Anamorphic Lens or might it be too heavy ?
Sorry I don’t know anything much about that drone so I won’t be able to respond to this.

Really cool! Is the same minimal focus distance, about 30cm?
Still relevant, thanks
Happy to hear that! :)
Bro so help me out idk what I did with my settings but now I can’t get this effect where it looks like it’s shown in a theater when I play my videos I don’t get the black spacing anymore
The Blue Lines in Lights, can be removed ?

Usually they write that it's 1.15 or 1.21, but skyreat cheated :D
What drone did you use for this?
Pavo 30 :)
Thank you for the info. Is the 1.2:1 your recommendation over the 1.33:1? I believe your using a DIATONE Taycan drone....which version?
It’s actually Betafpv Pavo30 :)
I used it first time and getting black shadows both side every time i move the go pro, distorted black shadows left and right, any idea why?
Watch the whole video - I explain how to get rid of that. :)
Looks incredible
right? I really like this new addition to my GoPro!
Can you use it for gopro photography as well? Or just filming?
You can! :D
@@TheSkyHighFilms thank you so much!!
Basically just I have to decompress, stretch, the photo, as you do with the video. If I'm right.?
I got the lenses but the footage is too shaky and I'm using the Inkee Falcon Gimble... Is the lens just better for still shots?
I suggest you to watch the whole video. I explain everything.
Awesome ...!! thanks for effort ..!!!
Thank you for watching! :)
Thank you!
You're welcome! :)
Wow amazing
Footage looks great!
Great Tip thanks brother 👊🏻
Thank you for sharing 😎🤟🏼

What are your settings?
5.3k, (30 frames) linear, hypersmooth on. If this is not correct, can you recommend any settings please. Thanks in advance
Please advise, thanks in advance
Brilliant !!
So Creative , thank you .
how should it call GoPro Anamorphicpro or Goanamorphic😅
Great video btw 👌
Thank you! :D
Ļoti informatīvi!
Good
Thanks! :)
I just posted a video on how to put an ND filter on that anamorphic lens.
Feel free to check it out
