Replacing Camilla was a mistake. She should have never left. Alexander must've really hated her if he went so far as to re-record the entire album and reshoot the music videos with Michaela.
Total and utter jealousy. Alexander Bard back then seemed like a horribly vile person in interviews.. But he had such a distain for La Camilla. She's absolutely gorgeous and exudes the star appeal that he never had.
@@bulcyob He still is. In the early 90's Madonna wanted to help sign AoL to a bigger label and he turned her down and then mocked her a few years ago on Twitter. Plus he's tweeted several racist things as well.
when it comes to nailing the accents on songs sung in English, noone can beat the bands that come out of the Nordic region, (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland). I'm also including the Netherlands and maybe Finland in this observation. It just flows out naturally for them. And I'm talking about the musicians and artists from continental Europe.
Actually, this video/version is from the early 90s, but the first version of the song is from late 80s. Army Of Lovers didn't care and continued making 80s-disco through the 90s :D
You do a good job with your old school modern style. I see Mondy and the Speak and Spell Texas Instrument saying "Mini Max what ever it takes for you to come back" .
I love that Camilla is wearing slippers and flats in most of the video - because she's 180 cm / 5'11" - tall! She has on small heels for some shots though.
Campy! I love it. Too bad their only hit here was "Crucified" (mostly a dance club hit). I think people here in the states were a little confused as some of us thought it was Abba believe it or not. if you like this kind of over the top madness you might also enjoy Skatt Brothers' truly twisted record "Walk the Night" or, of course, Right Said Fred's hit "I'm Too Sexy". All part of the spirit of a time when fun was unfettered with viruses, horrible politicians, and music created on computers.
This video was recorded when Camilla was with the group but the music and vocals are from a later remix when Michaela de la Cour became the female member. So it's Michaela you're hearing.
Symphatic people,Aleksander looks like Menchikov big friend of Russian Emperor Peter the great. La Camilla ruin his life when be young, today i see , Sweeden is conservative country anyway.
They always look like they have so much fun filming these
Indeed. Especially the dude with long hair. Looks like he was REALLY into it. It's a hoot of a video!
@Steven Kerry Jean Pierre is his name and I agree 😂❤ super gay but one of the reasons I love it
@@FriendofDorothy I agree He's a very dedicated performer
Bizarrely this now looks like an absolutely splendid lockdown video...❤️

She was the best.
She could've been the next Safire or Selena.

Iceland is not continental Europe.
Because there languages are useless outside their countries. They better master English.
Happy 60;th LA CAMILLA!
