Really cool i had an oaky tell me about this years ago we event built a compost bin out of used pallets but never used it. And never saw anyone run hose through a pile and actually pull it off. I have a barrel stove and want to use bags of leaves to insulate the walls here in zone 8a. Youre doing humanity a service with your work.
Great project. Subscribed. I have many questions: Could you tell me more about your compost pile? Is it mostly wood chips? How many greens? What kind of wood? If you had a smaller pile, but also a smaller greenhouse (like you said you had before), do you think it would work? Why bother with the hot air, and simplify with a hot water radiator? Or was that just an experiment? Thanks!
Garden hoses come in 3/4" and 1/2" internal diameter. That's annoying because most fittings are for 3/4"and won't fit the 1/2" hoses when you have a need on short notice. With some types of hoses you can use a heat gun to soften the small hose to stretch it out enough to fit on some of the fittings, but not all.
Get yourself a wireless mic set up! I just randomly came up on your short about this heater and now im watching the video. Pretty cool stuff it looks like youre doing im excited to check it out

I have a plan to use a 300 gallon cattle trough with a scuba wood hot tub stove and maybe irrigate with warm water.
