Dude fr! I hit one last summer and somehow managed to keep it up. Missing a right rear peg on my rear set and cracked a little of the fairing but other than that the bike was fine. Hit another deer in my car a month later and it got totaled😂
This specific video with the sportbike and the girl is the reason why I am never riding as a backpack and hating it. It's my own life and I don't want to put it and my safety on anyone's hands except mine. Hopefully more girls will understand this and be more careful.
Your idea of careful seems to be never doing something because of a possibility of something bad happening. How dangerous for a rider to be in that mind space. I suggest communicating with your riding partner beforehand so you can ensure a fun and safe ride. :) because at the end of the day, all he did was turn the throttle at the wrong time, not something random .
You are not completely wrong, but I said to be careful in the aspect of: observe his riding and hold on tightly yourself or communicate generally and be aware of who you trust. As of me, I much prefer to ride my very own bike than pretending the plant pot on the back of someone else's. Many girls aren't considering riding themselves because of riders like this that get them frightened or endangered as passengers. That simple thing that he did, got a person to the hospital and carrying a passenger was his responsibility to took care of. I always put the new rider up front. My son rides slower than what I do so he sets the pace and I remind him stay within his comfort zone not mine. I rode with a track experience guy a few years ago and I was right on his line in the mountains, when we stopped I looked at my rear tire on my BMW GTL1600 and the rubber was rolling off. A few times the rear tire felt spungey so I knew I was at the limit. I was beyond my normal comfort zone but I felt if I rode his line and be smooth on the throttle in and out of the turns I would be okay. It was the dumbest thing I have ever done. I recently had a deer come out from behind a large pine tree, she almost t-boned me… fortunately I was in orange stage due to an upcoming intersection,… I slowed enough because of my quick response on the brakes, she realized what was up and she did like a 90 degree turn, I wasn’t looking at her, my son was behind me and watched it unfold. @badabingbadaboomMF yes, this is a much better answer actually.
02:00 shouldn't the biker be riding closer to the middle or the left side of the lane to give the Tesla more opportunity to see the biker? The bike seemed to be hugging the right side and the Tesla's line of sight to the biker wasn't the greatest. Not trying to defend the Tesla driver but I think I would prefer to make myself more visible on the bike rather than less visible.
16:49 : the guy behind slipped into a car, that happened :)
I have astigmatism and it is worse than those rain drop glares. I wonder how I’ll do riding a bike at night 👀
Unbelievable SAVE! Cage drivers suck! It's way too easy to get a DL, so we have people who are virtually imbeciles driving 3000lb weapons on the road.
You still can’t lane split or cross over on double yellow. Both driver and rider were wrong.
You can in fact split on the double yellow dividing normal traffic lanes from the hov lane. You cannot cross it like the car did.
Great lesson for us both and reaffirmed my coaching to him about covering brakes and slow prior to intersections. Thanks for all the education in your videos, never to old or seasoned to learn!
We have wild deer and Kangaroos where I ride. Sm
7:30 she is actually lucky she let go, as she could have easily get drawn into the wheel arch and the tyre would have... you get what i mean.
She let go so she could scratch her ass hole.
When are riders going to realise , you cant ride a motorcycle like you drive a car, I ride like I'm invisible , assume no body sees you , its a brain drain but ffs it works
Squirrel lol
07:19 a responsible rider won't take a pillion without decent gear. The rider should have to pay for all of her costs. 09:27 At that moment, I don't think she really cares about it all being on camera and the fact that the guy has to ask her if he should call the emergency services is a joke.
What about introducing an Asshole bumper sticker that you have on your car for 6 months if you caused an accident. 👍😂😂
6:50 I think her undercarriage is absolutely done.
Seems some people ride bikes just to look cool on it. No gear and no sense.
7:39 over cooked the beef skirts lol
Lane splitting is just asking for trouble, not sure why that's even legal
If you're too scared to do it, good news, you aren't required. I see lots of nerds sitting in traffic like cars.
1:27 Shouldn't be surprised, Tesla is removing sensors from newer vehicles and disabling them in software on older ones. Reason being they fought with the camera vision, because they would pick things up, like motorcycles, that the camera vision wouldn't. Tesla wants to go soley to camera vision. If you are a motorcyclist, be VERY cautious around Tesla, the computer can't see you anymore and they will change lanes or plow into the back of you.
LOL the dud falling off trying to stunt on a public road! No sympathy!
