Meh, I've read the books and watched GoT and I don't mind the later seasons and season 8. It drops in quality but I think many people are overeacting to not getting a disney ending and in the process are themselves not paying attention to what the characters are like.
What? The ending to season 8 WAS a Disney style ending. Entire character arcs were thrown out the window at the last minute, arcs that would take a season or two to pay off suddenly got wrapped up in an episode or two, etc etc.

Egg is actually a term used by trans people to describe someone who’s trans, but denies it despite them clearly being trans. The thing is, even if a majority of people did likethe got final (and it was far less, very much a minority) most of those won't have been the die hard fans HBO needs. Why? Because all the TV they can get from got isn't just limited to the series. They can do many other series in universe that die hard fnas still enjoy - and more importantly pay for- fhe premise of the show whereas the general public may move on. The got ending killed it. They've already had to cancel a prequel series. The long term success that could have dominated TV and given them way more money has gone.
