Maybe the ground was soft when you put your stabilizer arms down but when using the backhoe the rear tires should be off the ground a bit so you're not putting pressure on the rear axle when digging, so it doesn't pull the tractor backwards. I read this and was taught this. Also the FEL is down to help the tractors stability and by putting down pressure on the FEL to raise the front end up a bit. Be careful when rotating the arm to not put a lot of sideways pressure on the bucket to move something. I have a Kubota B2650 with a backhoe and have enjoyed using it and learning as I go, along with Facebook blogs on compact tractors, mostly Kubota's. I had the dealer add the thumb (Kubota) but yours looks more aggressive. Enjoy your tractor and have fun.
That was an excellent video you showed me that I can do all the things I'm going to want to do with my bx23s I'm getting on Sunday I often wondered could I push myself back like I can with my harbor freight towable backhoe you showed me that the tractor will actually move probably easier if I put it in neutral I love how you used it the backhoe without actually getting off and turning the seat around good stuff man just good stuff thank you very much
It does have enough power. I think my next one will be a regular b or lx series. It can get a lot done, just takes a little more time and effort on some jobs. But the trade off of size for mowing and storage is nice for me.

How do you like it?
Alsoif you stretch the arm out all the way straight ..horizontally ..you can move the thumb slide easier ..less tension on it
What kind of teeth on the front?
It’s a piranha tooth bar
Does this bx 23 mad enough power for this type of work??? Or are you consider to buy L series more powerful?
