Hi every one today we have a fun video on creating holographic molds. We all have created holographic resin art by using holographic papers but this is Different .
Originally this technique has been used on chocolates using Diffracting grating sheet .
As I wanted to use that sheet but was not able to source it so I am using Rainbow Reflective Sticker.
Hope you find it fun and create your own magical molds.

Just if anyone's interested, it's done with something called diffraction grating, lots of different depth parallel lines which makes the different colour shimmer and why it disappears if something is put over the top and covers the imprint. I absolutely love it when you use these moulds Tish, that gold outlined butterfly was gorgeous!

So how many uses do you get out of the holographic mold or is it just like transferring the holographic print I've seen these on Etsy before and I was blown away by them and I wanted to start making something myself but I didn't know how many uses people would get out of it so I want to know how much to charge so it's a fair price between the silicone rubber I would use and how many uses of the mold with the holographic transfer the person would get

It should stay forever. The gradient film makes the holo effect by having micro ridges that refract the light at different wave length based on shape. The lines are made into the mold so holo effect should last as long as the mold is durable.

My silicone didnt cure only where it was touching the vinyl. So I used some UV resin on the sheet to get the halo effect on the resin the I put the silicone on the dried resin that took the halo 3defy. Its odd cure but didnt take on the halo too well. I'm going to try again with but leave it to cure longer. That way I know it will be totally dried. That
Is the only way it would fade away, if it was still tacky not 100% dry

My silicon will not dry to the film! Just the silicon touching the film wont cure. I know it is mixed really well beca8se I made molds of other things and cured just fine. I poured the silicon over the film to make a insert but tried 3x and will not dry to the film. Why?
