I have ressurected this video, despite its missing end piece, to complete the numbered run. It deals with the machining of the pivot links for the ram link.
Hi, Paul, I use a mixture of software. Let me explain: I started using QCAD for the production of 2D workshop drawings.. Then I expanded to using Alibre Atom for 3D and 2D (for use in QCAD) because I got it at a discount price through Model Engineers' Workshop magazine. When I won the Shapeoko router, I needed to produce G-Code for which I now use Fusion 360 personal edition. This makes it an unnessarily convoluted route, but it works for me. If I was to start again from scratch, I guess I would use Fusion for everything and only have to learn one piece of software. Having said that, I don't like the cloud aspect of Fusion so don't save my files online. I export them to my own computer. Sorry that's a bit it long-winded, but I thought you deserved a sensible answer instead of just a list. Regards, John
losing footage is always a frustration .
You're right there! I've spent too many hours looking for it on my hard drive. In this case , I don't think it detracts much from the series.
John

What software do you use to create you drawings?
Cheers.
