I lost my best friend to suicide over a year ago now, I showed him Trophy Eyes back in 2016 just after high-school but he was the type of guy to say he showed you something just after you showed him and he never let go of it lol I miss that a lot. This is just one of those songs that I immediately wanted to send to him. I know he must’ve been clinging on to the smallest things before leaving. That last hug at the bar with him weighs heavier than anything I’ve carried before. He would’ve loved this song. Can’t wait for this album. Thank you Trophy Eyes for always being there.

I knew of the name of Trophy eyes but never looked before. I think I joined at a good time. This song explains the sensation I feel about life and album is a killer. Great work Trophy eyes.
