About Young Sheldon:
It’s 1989 and 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper has skipped four grades to start high school along with his less-intellectual older brother. As he struggles to be understood by his family, classmates and neighbors, his mother arms him with the best tool she can come up with: reminding bullies his dad is the football coach and his brother is on the team. His twin sister doesn’t share his exceptional mind, but she has a much clearer vision of what life has in store for the young genius.

Ignoring emotions is where I shine 😅 love him
Without emotions a human is more like a robot. So, sheldon in the world of AI is useless. Also, a child shouldn't be allowed to talk like that.
Clearly 😂😂😂😂
@christopherbingham5092 No he's right
@@YRaviJ agree
@YRaviJ why shouldn't they be able to talk like tht? Emotions just mess every thing up. He speaks truth. If u share a room with another legally. Then legally one cannot bar another one from entering
Sheldon only respects others when he's bound by law to do so😂.
That means Sheldon would never enter someone's home without being invited
I have am a good 😌 I’m not
@@dollyrama1132true; it also means that if emotional interactions had structure and rules that someone gave him then he'd have done so. For instance, if George said "Both", Sheldon would respond asking why and George could create a Paradigm in which those two were not mutually exclusive, but linked to one another.
He is.... So close to self aware
and yet so far...
Emotionally, or legally😂 boy knows what his sister is capable of😂
He raises several interesting points.
" clearly " just got me 😂
Ok. Young sheldon-actor ROCKS. 🎉
This stuff is so much funnier than tbbt
The main reason for me is because they don’t use a laugh track ever
@@MrClassical75 yeah thats a huge improvement!
Thousand times better. Young Sheldon will go down as a prequel which was superior than original.
They didn’t use laugh tracks in TBBT. It’s just that the live audiences who go to sitcoms are gigglers
@@yveslafrance2806 Usually the production "warms them up" before the filming starts with another act/comedian so that they are primed to laugh at anything once the camera is rolling.
If I saw this before anything I have never begun to like the show.
It dumbfounds me to see Sheldon lacks all human compassion and totally self absorbed, to boot 😫
I know he cannot help it, but it still slays me!
He is above the thinking of a disney-loving, dumb person. He is smart, and he only cares for what is right and progressive. He knows emotions are there, but wonders why eveyone is so caught up in feelings. Self-absorbed is the people who put up signs cuz they sad 😥
@@mikehawkheir5554nah he's self absorbed
@@mikehawkheir5554 you probably stomp on boundaries and wonder why people dislike you
@@Panda-xd5ey WRRRROONNG. anime is messing with ur thinking.
@@christopherbingham5092 facts
I think yall are taking this way too seriously 😭
I’d be so tempted to put him up for adoption 😂
…I can see both sides of the story. While Missy definitely doesn’t have the right to lock Sheldon out of their room, she is rather upset and that can mess with the head. Sheldon, on the other hand, doesn’t take into account other people’s feelings which is definitely something he should work on. So they’re both flawed human beings, and children. No one is really to blame here.
They should have given her another space to be left alone
@@pippaschroeder9660 Yes, but when has Missy ever truly been treated fairly?
@@Lyra324 lmfao many times. She just acts as if she never gets anything. Sheldon literly does their taxes and she does nothing to help around the house. All he ever got was the USED computer.
@@kurokami1000 …He wanted to do the taxes, and I don’t think you understand how expensive a computer was in the 90’s, besides I’m pretty sure Mary bought a new computer, for them to share yes, but she bought it because he wanted it.
@@kurokami1000 And she got a candy. Yes, very fair. Are you watching the same show as the rest of us?
...clearly.😂
I’ve always loved the music in this show
You know its werid Sheldon only acts like he is in the orignal show when the plot of an episode requires it
unlike tbbt that is a sitcom where character traits are exagerated for comedy effect, this is more of a real life drama with comedy undertones, so characters cannot be parodies all the time
Plus, it’s generally implied in the main series and prequel + accepted by the viewers that Sheldon changed SIGNIFICANTLY after his father’s passing, so he wouldn’t have the same kind of personality here as he did in TBBT
Sheldon is so exhausting.
Clearly 😅😅
He is honestly right...its not his problem she has boy problems its also his room...and the dad was quite unfair about it...and later it led to the sister crossing a line, breaking something of his when he entered their shared room
The dad was not unfair about it
Justice for George
@@baconking2745well yes that's true he wasn't but I agree it's Sheldon's room too just because she's having a breakdown about a guy doesn't mean if she's sharing a room with her brother he can't enter the room
@@WiseSleddog It is his room and he is allowed to go in there, the dad just told him that now might not be a good time
Knowing sheldon he would mess with Missy, which he did.
"clearly" 😭😂😭💀
When I put a sign on my door my sister runs to my door and rips it in half even though she has her own room
Poor George am I right
@@christopherbingham5092 thank you for your reply
You are not wrong !
Popular opinion
To be fair, the Sheldon gets better in the later seasons.
No, he won't break ccharacter but become more caring in his own way.
Young Sheldon reminds me so much of my daughter when she was that that character's age. She wasn't as obnoxious, but she could be and her teachers and whole school loved her. I should everyone in the small town where we lived absolutely adored her and some people were shocked that I would be talking to a child like an adult until they heard my daughter talk. My parents use to tell her that I was very smart too, but I used my brain to get into trouble and to get out of trouble. LOL My daughter was and will always be super conservative and I was and will always be a free spirit. The cutest thing was when my daughter told me that I was a difficult Mommie to raise. LOL My daughter never had a sense of humor, but what made her so cute was that she'd try to get people to laugh, and she'd come in upset if nobody laughed and would ask me how I made people laugh because people thought that I funny. I would tell her to not try and copy me, to just be herself, and hold her. The day she did make someone laugh she was about 8 or 9 and she got in my car clapping and saying " Momma I'm like you! I made someone laugh!" We hugged and I treated her to her favorite ice cream parlor. When the person that she made laugh and I talked they told me that they laughed because she was so serious and I told them that was 90 in a child's body. So children like Sheldon are normal for me because my Momma was very smart and skipped a grade in school, but she also had a sense of humor. My daughter was like Sheldon and didn't see why some things were funny, but I wouldn't change her for the world because she's also a great Momma to my granddaughters. She even approached her pregnancy from an intellectual point of view. LOL
Give Missy a break Sheldon. He’s having boy problems. 😊😭
It amazes me how TBBT can be such an awfully unfunny show, but Young Sheldon be actually pretty great
He does have point
Honestly ik everyone hates sheldon for being Like this but I love him he doesn't care bout anyone else and he lives in his own world and is pretty adorable i love this guy
Fr 😂
Clearly Missy was the selfish one here, she can't block access to his room and assets for her own personal problems. If she wants solitude, she could take her stuff elsewhere or barricade her part of the room
Yep
You clearly never had daughters.
Dude it's not going to kill him if he doesn't enter the room for an hour or so. Their house isn't big, there aren't any spare rooms for her to lock herself in
@@VadulTharysThat doesn't excuse immature behaviors. Teach her that feelings doesn't outweigh rules.
@@vervetech9395 yeah dont work on a girl in puberty. All they have are feelings and emotions and all of them out of control for three years. Being supportive, offering tender guidance and listening non stop even when she screams she hates you and your rules is what being a good dad to a daughter means.
People are acting like Sheldon is being unreasonable, but it’s still his room, and it has all of his shit in it. And I guarantee that if Sheldon was having an “emotional moment“ and put up a do not enter sign, people would be acting like he was being whiny
He's not unreasonable. I've noticed before that some people impose double standards when it comes to his behavior vs other characters' behavior. If his feelings are dismissed, it's funny. If he dismisses someone else's feelings, he's a jerk.
@@blueberryoatmeal4009ohhh plss...whenever sheldon does feel his feelings r being dismissed...he makes the whole world to know about it and makes everyone to cater to his feelings and calls them selfish for not catering...so pls don't act as if sheldon never voices out his feelings ..
@@blueberryoatmeal4009he even ran away from home once when his parents and meemaw refused to drop him off at an event where professor linkletter invited...he went so far to call his precious meemaw selfish and got himself grounded by the parents by calling them as well...and when that didn't work, he ran away from home to visit Dr sturgis....they all had their moments...so stop judging
@@gaurynair7639 that’s not what they said, they said that the fanbase has a huge double standard where sheldon’s feelings getting dismissed is never taken seriously but when it’s any other character it’s a serious thing that they make a big deal out of it. My point is that missy has no right to kick sheldon out when it’s HIS room too, imagine if the roles were reversed and mary reprimands missy after Sheldon broke one of her things.
Hey, if WE own something together. Your "emotional problems" can Eff off. I'm coming in. Not even a "please let me have it for today," a sign.
I tend to ignore people's emotions myself. Sheldon is doing it because he doesn't understand emotions all that well.
I do it just be a jerk.😂
The couch for now
Sheldon is
honestly if i was missy and had to deal with sheldon he would have been long dead in the womb
Sheldon can’t go in the room Missy writes “Do not enter”.
It's his room as well, Missy has no right banning him from his own room.
@@Infinitystar225But she needs space
@@juckya9660Get it somewhere else, you cant stop someone from entering their own room so you can sulk.
@@aaronburr956 I mean she can and has.
@@juckya9660if this was a real situation, Missy would have no right to keep Sheldon out of HIS room. She should in reality be spending time somewhere quiet without bothering or interfering with personal life.
When you're a father with a kid who's intelligence is 5-10? times more.
Walk away.
Sheldon and Missy got to a stage where it wasn't really appropriate for them to share a bedroom anymore.
Siblings of opposite genders need their own separate spaces, arguably more so than siblings of the same gender.
Well it's not a big house, they had three rooms...one room for parents, one room for georgie and the other room shared by the twins...they did eventually get their own rooms once georgie moved out to the garage
Shut up Sheldon
You shut up.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
What episode is this pls

Aren't they too old to share a room?
He deserved getting his picture ripped for being inconsiderate.
Immature comment defending an immature character
It’s his room too
It his room too and it's not a must for him to be considerate. He can choose to be considerate or not. It's her feelings not his. Rules aren't about feelings.
... He deserved having a belonging he cared about destroyed because he did not roll over to be bullied out of his own room?
Clearly the requirement for considering other people's feelings does not apply to anyone else on this show.
@@blueberryoatmeal4009he didn't get bullied...stop lying...all he needs to do is..just to give her a bit of space for like few mins...it wouldn't exactly kill him...as she is going through something...let her process that for sometimes, he could have distracted himself playing with trains for sometime...and once she finishes, he could have easily gone into the room then...would have easily avoided all that conflict for no reason
He is so annoying
So true, sometimes I wanna get in the tv and punch that guy so bad lol
Maybe, but its his room too and well its not his fault the problems of others.

Sheldon was wrong
Funny, everyone should have noticed that he was gay 😅
That's just cruel. His dialogue is written the way a person watching thinks the person doing the behavior is acting and forcing them to say the words. It's wrong to do it this way.
Huh😂
George needs to grow a pair. He knows that Mary has indulged Sheldon, and this is why siblings are virtually ignored and relegated to unimportant. Just say stay out for now!
