    Oh no Melissa! 😔 Over the years i have had situations where i got stranded in the middle of nowhere all alone.
    Sometimes i got help and other times it was all me. I always took solace that in the end it would work out with
    a little help. ✝✝✝ I hope they found the problem and fixed it for good. On with the adventure. 😃💪

    Great video Melissa. I haven't had any major issues with my Indian as of yet, but I hope I will have some of the support you did during your small crisis. It's good to have good people around.

    Tales of the road are always the best, even if we have issues! Hubby is a bike mechanic so I am fortunate if he is with me, Glad you had help!!
    Are you a Lady of Harley and a member of HOG, they come right away and get it to closest dealer!!
    Sounds like it all worked out!!!

      Working on day 4 where I will address the towing concerns. I learned some things about roadside assistance. Not a part of HOG or any group right now…no time. Glad your hubby is a mechanic. Would love for him to teach me a few things about motorcycles 🥰. I will learn. On my long list of things to do LOL.

    If the starter is spinning the engine then it is "turning over" but it just won't fire. If the starter is spinning the engine at a good cranking speed then jumping the battery won't help.
    You either have a fuel delivery problem or lack of spark. You could also have a lack of compression problem but not likely on a newer machine like this.
    The reason I say this is that in the future , if you have to explain to someone what the bike is doing (or not doing) you can speak accurately and they will know what your situation is.

      Thank you so much for that information. It turned out to be a bad crank sensor.

    Hi Melissa, Being new to three wheels after many on two, my question is how do you maneuver the curves? I know there is a technique can you tell me yours?? Thanks Diane

    • @MidLifeStyleTwins
      @MidLifeStyleTwins  ปีที่แล้ว

      Welcome to the wonderful three wheel world. I love it. So much more relaxed though it is important to still be alert and cautious.
      When turning right for example, I pull on the right handle bar push with left. Always look ahead into the curve because you go where you look. When I first started riding the trike, I had to remind myself of these different maneuvers. Soon I got the feel and it became second nature now. Just remind yourself at first to continue to apply gentle pressure and do not let up/let loose on the bars as you are turning into the curve. You will slowly turn the bars straight as you complete the turn. There is definite need for arm strength and found sore muscles at first but now I do not feel the strain. Biceps and triceps exercises are good to prepare.
      I also practice still shifting my weight a little into the curve and go the posted curve speed limit. Trikes handle curves beautifully I think but the can still tip if you go too fast.
      I may find time soon to create a video on this.

    I hate that you had so much trouble. My wife and I have put over 30k riding over the past couple of years and have had some similar experiences. We have been lucky to make it home on a couple of occasions. You can forget about hog and the insurance company about a tow. They are useless.
    Hopefully you have some cell service.
    Let us know how it ended up and what happened.

    • @MidLifeStyleTwins
      @MidLifeStyleTwins  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am working on Day 4 now where I address just that about the towing/roadside assistance. More challenges. Also found out why my cellular service was an issue. I put 25k on my Blue Trike with no issues. It was a 2017. Kind of wishing I had it back at about then. Thanks for watching.

    A Modern Fuel Injected engine with a good battery and fresh fuel, it's not a good idea to use either in warm weather.
    It would have fired and run on either if it had spark. Either is very volatile and can blow up an engine.. Most starting fluid is 50% Propane to make is safer for your engine to use.
    Seems you would of had some warning lights on the Dash ..
    My Buell has a check engine light on 99% of the time.
    Thus if with one simple try to start it on starting fluid ..and it does not fire .. It's time to go to plan B and contact a Dealer.
    I would assume that ECU was made in China.. for the HD
