For years I struggled with that scripture. I knew the scripture but I did not really understand the scripture. I thought Jesus was talking about someone literally hitting me, not if someone insults me, turn the other cheek. I don't need to clap back. So now I understand what the word meant when it said to turn the other cheek. I think that's why God gave Solomon wisdom, understanding and then knowledge.
