B4 Millner, there was a 35 yr old Scottish baldy name Gary McAllister. Won the league with Leeds, we got him free from Coventry. If u are from a younger generation of supporters, look him up. He always delivers with crucial goals.
He was under Houllier for only 2 seasons and was part of the team that won everything except UCL and EPL..
Next season we are getting a WC winner Alex MacAllister. With us being LFC, this can't be just a coincidence.
PS - There ain't no replacement for a unique speciment. We just have to upgrade to another level.

It's clear - we need to get him back asap. He will be a ferocious coach if that's what he decided to do, but he can do anything whether it's in the training ground, the academy, the sidelines or even in the boardroom. Let him learn under De Zerbi, but we can't lose this man forever. He is football.

When he first signed, I didn't think any of it. Especially for a free, having already won things in City. But man he proved a lot of us wrong. He's been immense, influential and not to forget that season he was "Ja-mes" Milner top assist provider in UCL.
I was the same. I was just like "decent squad player". Little did I think he would become not just my favourite player but also an actual hero of mine. Someone even at 32 years old I can learn life lessons from. That's how big he is and how much respect I have for him, not just as a player but as a captain, a leader and a man. I'd love to meet him one day and hopefully he could impart some wisdom on me. We need him back after he spends his year learning under De Zerbi. He is the future manager.

He’s a classic English player,in a long tradition of such players. A warrior,total commitment,leadership,physically strong and never surrenders. Klopp was was very cute in seeing his qualities...he provided the backbone to that side,enabling other players to shine. Better still he never asked for recognition or glory,he just did his job

What amazed me most about Milner was how fast he could run for someone made out of solid rock.
Rumour has it that he once played hide-and-seek at Stonehenge, where he stood motionless next to one of the verticle sarsen stones. It took them 3 days to find him.

Klopp saying nothing even gets up to his office regarding the dressing room, is because Milner has already sorted it! Its literally the recipe for success. He's keeps that dressing room disciplined, grounded, focused, humble and has taught them respect and to know your place on this 'ship' so to speak. Then Klopp can just do his magic stress free, with players that know that they are there to do and its to listen and respect the manager and coaching staff!! Love this and I'm a United fan.
