Actually DALLAS owns the North Stars logo. NOT Minnesota honey. It pisses me off as a Stars fan that people think Minnesota owns the logo and color schemes when it’s in fact DALLAS who owns it. Just because the North Stars came from Minnesota doesn’t mean the Wilds own that franchise because they are in Minnesota. Dallas took it with them when they moved here to Texas and still own it. Please get the correct facts.

The Colorado one you chose is my top NHL logo as well. Agree with everything you said, plus it's a subtle throwback to the Rockies. I was born and raised in Colorado but moved a few years back and every time I put on a hoodie or a toque with that logo it feels like home. Cheers for nostalgia!
Original Ducks logo is one of my favourite hockey logos as well. Also 100% agree that the Wild logo is not only the best NHL logo but one of the best logos in all of sports and I'm not even a fan of the team. But that logo is just perfect and the amount of detail included is great. Overall in all of sports I'd put it 2nd to only the Toronto Raptors original logo.
as a Caps fan, give me basically any logo other than our current one. I love the screaming eagle, the Weagle, the capital building, the W from the Winter Classic w/ the Washington Monument in the negative space, just anything but the current logo, which I just find boring (the only worse one, IMO, i the variation for the abbreviated "Caps" from that Stadium Series). The screaming eagle brings back so many memories from my childhood of Bondra, Oates, Gonchar, Halpern, Kolzig, and the like (still have a poster of Kolzig in the blue jersey with that logo). Still wear my Bondra black capitol building jersey when I go to bars to watch games. The current jersey itself is fine, but the logo is just so lame.
Bondra was my favorite player as a kid. That jersey was the first one I ever bought myself. I have such nostalgia for for 90s/early 00s era logo. Would love to see buffalo bring back the "goat head" in the blue and gold. It was a cool logo, though I like their current colors a lot (probably because they're similar to my high school's colors).

As an Isles fan, I do love the fisherman and I was so pumped when I heard it was coming back this year (though I’m disappointed that there’s no teal). But… the circular crest is so classic. It symbolizes our best times, a Stanley Cup dynasty, and the pride of Long Island. So many people hated the fisherman because it replaced our original crest. To me, that logo is irreplaceable. I think it’s the best logo in Islanders history. With our 50th Anniversary this season, the team’s pride is shown in that crest. The tip of the “i” in Islanders points to the location of Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, and we forever hold our memories in that building in our crest. I love this logo, and I truly believe it is the greatest logo the Isles ever used.
Hope I am not the first person to ever mention to you that the negative space between the two warning flags of the Carolina logo is in the shape of North Carolina. That is why it will always be one of my favorite sports logos.
Actually, the original Flyers logo had a much smaller "P" in the middle, with a tiny red circle in the middle, of the P, both the P and the circle got bigger in the second (and best known) version.

It's rare that I prefer a newer logo to the original, but, in this case I agree 100% (But for the chest, not the shoulders), the cartoony original (And current) "Skating penguin" logo is very tacky and looks like a high-school, or minor league logo

I have to say I do prefer the aggressive Orca bursting through the ice for the Vancouver Canucks and my Mum is a Pittsburgh fan just because of the skating Penguin logo they have now. As an artist i did draw my favourites which consisted of Arizona Coyotes, Florida Panthers, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins, San Jose Sharks, Minnesota Wild and Vancouver Canucks.

As an islanders fan I honestly really like the style and colors of the fisherman jersey. The only thing I dislike about it is the logo, however I did absolutely love the shoulder patch from that jersey, in fact it’s probably my favorite islanders logo

Buffalo wore the Goathead for 9 seasons and made the playoffs 6 times with 3 conference finals and 1 Stanley Cup final. Also Hasek won 4 Vezinas and 2 Hart Trophies in that jersey so I would call it a pretty successful era.

Coming from a Pens fan, I think the current Penguins logo is their best. I love the Robo-Penguin as much as everyone else but I will always love and prefer our current logo.
I am a Blue Jackets fan, but the one thing I can't stand about the organization is stinger. I love the cannon and the current logo; even the original logo is ok, but I'd be absolutely fine if stinger went away for good.
Other thing Tampa Bay used to have a lot more of, was metallic silver. Never underestimate the power of well-implemented shiny stuff. For Washington, I personally prefer the "weagle" that has the Capitol dome silhouetted in the negative space. Me, I'm a sucker for ingenious use of negative space. For example: next time you see a FedEx truck, look where the E and X run together. See the arrow in there, now that I mentioned it?

I’ve softened up on the Fisherman logo over the years. Years ago I might have given you grief for it but not anymore. It’s not our best logo but I’m cool with those that think otherwise.
I think the hurricane logo for the Hurricanes is my favorite. It looks like a puck going really fast My top five are probably 1. Wild's bear head 2. Hurricanes spiral hurricane 3. The Flames boar head 4. Islanders fisherman 5. Islanders Lighthouse I don't even like the Flames or the Islanders, they just have some nice logos. I also really like the Redwings and the Blues logos. I really don't like the Penguins cartoon penguin, that Robo Penguin is really nice tho.
There is something secret in that Buffaslug logo that no one mentions. Going from the tail up the hump, then from the neck to the face and beard...it's the letter B.
As much as I love the original Mighty Ducks logo/color scheme, I prefer their shoulder patch logo with the ANAHEIM DUCKS text around an oval and the Mighty Ducks logo inside with the current colors. Either way, can’t go wrong with the OG logo!

I prefer the pens current logo. I still love the robopen but it's still associated with some very bad times for the pens. Mario getting cancer and the constant fear of relocating during the robopens era. There's also the association of it with them choking the threepeat.

As a pens fan that grew up in the 90s truthfully I thought robo penguin was the best our of all their logos but now that they have revamped and went with the early 90s logo, I love it so much but at times I always miss robo pen yet Mario the great hates it 🤣 lol

Just because the North Stars came from Minnesota doesn’t mean the Wilds own that franchise because they are in Minnesota. Dallas took it with them when they moved here to Texas and still own it. Please get the correct facts.

He didn't even say that the Wild own the name and colours. No need to go reply to someone's comment to correct something they didn't even say.

Original Ducks logo is one of my favourite hockey logos as well. Also 100% agree that the Wild logo is not only the best NHL logo but one of the best logos in all of sports and I'm not even a fan of the team. But that logo is just perfect and the amount of detail included is great. Overall in all of sports I'd put it 2nd to only the Toronto Raptors original logo.
as a Caps fan, give me basically any logo other than our current one. I love the screaming eagle, the Weagle, the capital building, the W from the Winter Classic w/ the Washington Monument in the negative space, just anything but the current logo, which I just find boring (the only worse one, IMO, i the variation for the abbreviated "Caps" from that Stadium Series).
The screaming eagle brings back so many memories from my childhood of Bondra, Oates, Gonchar, Halpern, Kolzig, and the like (still have a poster of Kolzig in the blue jersey with that logo). Still wear my Bondra black capitol building jersey when I go to bars to watch games. The current jersey itself is fine, but the logo is just so lame.

Bondra was my favorite player as a kid. That jersey was the first one I ever bought myself. I have such nostalgia for for 90s/early 00s era logo. Would love to see buffalo bring back the "goat head" in the blue and gold. It was a cool logo, though I like their current colors a lot (probably because they're similar to my high school's colors).
@@Jay-yr9oi I heard... hopefully it is true and I think it is... the Sabres are bringing back the goathead but in the original black and red colors as an alternate jersey. it would be nice to see it in blue/ gold but they did do that as a shoulder patch on the reverse retro jersey. I do have a Skinner reverse retro jersey. its one of my favorite jerseys out of all my jerseys

As an Isles fan, I do love the fisherman and I was so pumped when I heard it was coming back this year (though I’m disappointed that there’s no teal). But… the circular crest is so classic. It symbolizes our best times, a Stanley Cup dynasty, and the pride of Long Island. So many people hated the fisherman because it replaced our original crest. To me, that logo is irreplaceable. I think it’s the best logo in Islanders history. With our 50th Anniversary this season, the team’s pride is shown in that crest. The tip of the “i” in Islanders points to the location of Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, and we forever hold our memories in that building in our crest. I love this logo, and I truly believe it is the greatest logo the Isles ever used.
Teal will ALWAYS be associated with the SHARKS. Not the Islanders.
Hope I am not the first person to ever mention to you that the negative space between the two warning flags of the Carolina logo is in the shape of North Carolina. That is why it will always be one of my favorite sports logos.
You seems to gravitate toward logos that went far in the playoffs, especially in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Actually, the original Flyers logo had a much smaller "P" in the middle, with a tiny red circle in the middle, of the P, both the P and the circle got bigger in the second (and best known) version.

It's rare that I prefer a newer logo to the original, but, in this case I agree 100% (But for the chest, not the shoulders), the cartoony original (And current) "Skating penguin" logo is very tacky and looks like a high-school, or minor league logo

I have to say I do prefer the aggressive Orca bursting through the ice for the Vancouver Canucks and my Mum is a Pittsburgh fan just because of the skating Penguin logo they have now. As an artist i did draw my favourites which consisted of Arizona Coyotes, Florida Panthers, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins, San Jose Sharks, Minnesota Wild and Vancouver Canucks.
I am huge fan of the slug too growing up in the 2000s that has to be one of the best logos along with the Rangers 3D logo and winter classic logos
15:23 as a rangers fan, the best logo is not the lady liberty one but rather the original logo. Its been there since 1926 and just is better, even though the lady liberty one is good

As an islanders fan I honestly really like the style and colors of the fisherman jersey. The only thing I dislike about it is the logo, however I did absolutely love the shoulder patch from that jersey, in fact it’s probably my favorite islanders logo

Hey Neil! The Sabres are about to enter a great era in their history! Watching Devon Levi push the team to be 1 point away from the playoffs was amazing. This team is bound to have success.
Buffalo wore the Goathead for 9 seasons and made the playoffs 6 times with 3 conference finals and 1 Stanley Cup final. Also Hasek won 4 Vezinas and 2 Hart Trophies in that jersey so I would call it a pretty successful era.

Big Buffalo Fan, Love the Blue and gold w/ crossed sabers - I grew up with the original, but I agree with your pick, It was an aggressive logo and the black white red and silver really set it off. Disagree on Winnipeg I like the fighter jet over the maple leaf, it just pops for me.

For Washington, I personally prefer the "weagle" that has the Capitol dome silhouetted in the negative space. Me, I'm a sucker for ingenious use of negative space. For example: next time you see a FedEx truck, look where the E and X run together. See the arrow in there, now that I mentioned it?

I prefer the pens current logo. I still love the robopen but it's still associated with some very bad times for the pens. Mario getting cancer and the constant fear of relocating during the robopens era. There's also the association of it with them choking the threepeat.

My picks:
Anaheim - Original road logo is my favorite. Same design but the triangle is silver. I don't know if it's just that it popped more on the eggplant jersey, but I liked that one more.
Arizona - Agree, kachina is best
Boston - Spoked B is best. I just can't think Boston Bruins without that logo.
Buffalo - Agree, and I think it could look good in blue and gold as well. Classic logo is close second. Buffaslug was awful.
Carolina - Primary logo is best, it's simple but it's most clear in my mind.
Columbus - Cannon is my favorite, though Stinger is cool. I actually don't know if they truly have a bad logo.
Calgary - I think the C is my favorite. I like Blasty though.
Chicago - I don't know.
Colorado - Original A logo, foot second.
Dallas - Agree
Detroit - This is classic. I don't like the team, bit the logo is hot.
Edmonton - Agree.
Florida - Panther breaking the stick.
Los Angeles - Original crown. I don't like the copy the Raiders color scheme.
Minnesota - Agree
Montreal - Agree.
New Jersey - Agree.
Nashville - Agree.
NY Islanders - Original logo, though I'm not a big fan of any of their logos
NY Rangers - Agree
Ottawa - 3/4 3D view, again, not a huge fan of any of their logos
Philadelphia - Agree
Pittsburgh - Skating penguin, I think it's more fun
Seattle - agree, it's good, even if there isn't much in the way of options
San Jose - agree
St. Louis - agree, I like the very small touch of red.
Tampa Bay - Original, I liked the unique font used
Toronto - Agree, it's the cleanest
Vancouver - Agree
Vegas - Primary is better, I don't like the alternate much
Winnipeg - I really can't pick, I like all the logos they've used, except the cursive font one.
Washington - I like the eagle, not a fan of the colors. I'd go screening eagle reverse retro
Arizona - Coyote Howling, I love dogs wolves coyotes foxes any dog and the howl is satisfying.
Anaheim- of course the mighty ducks I 100% agree with you
Buffalo- I like that retro one but I also like the newer one with the Buffalo and two Sabres I think it’s cool looking.

Chicago- Original logo
Columbus- The Cannon, obviously their best
LA- I just like when it was just the crown
Florida- I love their newest one, it looks like it’s matured if that makes sense.
Islanders- like their current one
Ottawa- like their previous one
Vancouver and Pittsburgh love their current one that they’ve both used for a while now.
Seattle- love the anchor love the sea
Toronto- love their current and their retro, just love the detail in the leaf.
Minnesota- love both logos new and old, even when they were the North Stars I loved that logo to for nostalgia
Winnipeg- I love both their logos. The jets for nostalgia and the current because it just looks great with the jet on the leaf.

Oh man... As a Blues fan I love the 90s clown sweater but I'm not a fan of that text inside the note. Love all of our logos but the alternate logo we used with the arch is my favorite. It's a shame our owner didn't care for it.

As a pens fan that grew up in the 90s truthfully I thought robo penguin was the best our of all their logos but now that they have revamped and went with the early 90s logo, I love it so much but at times I always miss robo pen yet Mario the great hates it 🤣 lol
