Suggestion for the Metal finish: Paint the Wings top and bottom with the Tamiya Silver. Then get a reference which shows the areas top and bottom which were actually bare metal and mask off the painted area -.ONLY. Next lay a gloss black surface over the bare metal fuselage and those unpainted parts of the wings, and then repeat with an airbrushed metalizer such as AK Extreme or Alclad. The flying surfaces of ALL Mustangs were delivered filled and primed from the factory, then either camouflaged or painted silver. This was done to reduce drag and improve flying characteristics. There are numbers of good photos that show the wings looking silver where the fuselage looks like polished bare metal.

That’s a good idea I will probably do something similar on later builds

Great video. The B Mustang is awesome. Question: where did you get that stand you use?

I believe I bought this one from another modeler, it’s 3d printed and has been a great tool. I believe I bought it up from The Inner Nerd Scale Modeler but I don’t think his web store is up anymore.
