This was much more fun than last year even. We did all 4 courses in 2 days, not bad for a couple of 50 year olds, lol. Good finally meeting you at the booth.

US fixed pin guys are at a disadvantage on courses like that!

not really I have shot a 3d course with just 3 pins and since I have bought 2 bows one I put a 5 pin fixed and my Mathews a HHA single pin that is sighted in for 60 yards but are 3d shoots are a lot more wooded and prob 1or 2 shots maybe 60 and 50 yards

You guys are really good, Cooper should try ultra light gold tips with 90grain points they would fly fast
Victory 3DHV are lighter. For his draw length and arrow spine, he could stay under 250 grains with 100 grain points.
ObelixCMM ultra lights 700 cut to rest with 70 grains top hat are really fast
ObelixCMM ultra lights are thicker for 3d
If you like thicker 3D shafts check out Victory NVX 25HV, only 6.4 gpi for 25 size arrow. Soon they will have 23HV, not sure on gpi

Looks like a fun course! Hope guys watching this dont get all hung up on long bow shots for real world hunting situations though. Last year I saw a buck with an arrow in its ass during the rut. Not saying that was from a long range shot but in my opinion anything over 40 is unethical

Depends on how good the shot placement and I wouldnt beyond 25 yards...use fixed blade broadbead and you’re in business or something 1.25” to 1.75” cut expandable and nothing over that for better penetration!
