Game 1 felt stronger about just playing Enchantress Mid there. Would completely shut off Devil Dinosaur's strength bonuses, which guaranteed the win on mid. At that point, there's just not enough resources left to your opponent to threaten a win in both remaining locations.
i did play the game during the bate and must say its extremly enjoyable. the games are very short but each game stays refreshing and interesting. which is absolutly incredible on how they designed it that way the snap mechanic that ads a meta element that doesnt effect the game itself at all and only the "Mind" of the players is a absolutly great addition that changed my view on how ranking should work in competetive games and that they may be way more ways to improve them from what we have right now in most games Some Problems i have with the Game are in the comments to this comment.
@@TrinityEcho Well now if I reread it, fairXD The Game does have Problems. The way you get cards may be very frustrating for some Players. The game is pretty sweet, though the grind to unlock cards is so slow when you just want one or two specific cards :( I'm pretty impressed by Toast's collection level
I’ve been playing it before global launch and I have to say I’m quite impressed how the game feels. Each week if you grind enough you will be able to get not only awesome cards like sera, mr negative, destroyer, magik and lockjaw but you can get some fantastic art variants. Best thing is that all cards (I’m not sure about the battle pass cards though) are 100% be able to be earned by just playing the game and upgrading your cards and the only store this game has is purely cosmetics for your current owned cards and of course you can earn them for free (it will probably take a long time to get a certain variant of it though). Yep I love this game

Yes! I am going to spend thousands. It makes me smile while playing just like hearthstone did when it first dropped. About time we had another great card game
not me playing this game and imagining the characters I play in a location actually fighting the other characters of my opponent. and have a mini fanfic of a location's fight like avengers 🤣
This game is surprisingly fun… it’s pretty f2p and matchmaking is based on your collection level so spending a ton of money won’t allow you to beat f2p players (at least right now). The game is pretty heavy on the rng, but because of the snap mechanic this game plays more like poker than HS/LoR/MtG
Started playing today after this watching this video. Gotta say its quite neat game. Its an obvious pay-to-win but its good at beginner level where competitive didn't started yet.
How is it pay to win? I'm f2p and nearly in pool 3, it's only been out a week. They cap the amount you can spend per week so even if you throw money at it you can only unlock cards at a certain rate. Compared to most other games it's very balanced f2p vs p2w... you clearly don't know what you are talking about...
I am not sure but the Tie win/lose mechanism seems to be either broken or random. Last time I was winning one area at 71 points, the other was lost by 5 points and the last one was tied at 16. The sum of my opponent's overall points was lower than mine and I still lost.
man oh man i fking love scarlet witch i was able to turn so many fields where it gave an specific buff and just by changing the location they loose the game entirely
Been playing it for a while and it gets addicting really fast. Spending money doesn't even get you "good" cards necessarily as the volatility of the locations can easily change how every game is won. And the snap mechanic really IS a bluffing game. Only criticism I have of it is the game's events are sub-par. Otherwise, the game, the cards (which are EYE CANDY) and the snapping is really really addictive AND a game only lasts as long as a bathroom break.
I wanted to like this game, but unlike games such as Legends of Runeterra or even Hearthstone at some point you just hit a progress cap where you need to spend real world money get anything new and that's just unfun.
Have you paid any attention to Legends of Runeterra recently? They've made it a lot better since you played, even adding a pretty fleshed out single player roguelike. There's a ton of champions, and deck variety now too.
@@symphonixblades Fair. I do mainly watch LoR content instead of playing it these days because matches can last a while. I feel like snap doesn't have the same type of widly different playstyles and such though, which limits how entertaining it can be. Like can you win by only healing? Can you win by making one unit kill enough units? Can you place traps in the enemies deck which either damage face or units? Can you win by pure rng from aram? Nah, this snap is pretty much the gwent minigame from witcher 3, which I had fun with, but it simply isn't as flexible.
@@caenir I only play Legends of Runeterra for the Runeterra lore nowadays I just don't like PvP in most card games except that Marvel Snap is fully PvP and feels honestly balanced you play against people with the same rank and mostly same cards you have. You earn cards by Grinding and it's about location points but there's cards that make your opponent cards cost more energy or lose power which influences the match since you need the most power in at least 2 locations, cards that copy other cards effects, there is cards that give power to the cards you already have in hand so you can get your cards stronger or imagine your opponent removes power from your cards in hand you can restore that power with those cards. So there's a variety of effects that make the game fun there's no life points but you can heal when your opponent removes your cards power, it's a fun game with many different card effects and mechanics, add power, remove power, give this card to opponent they get - 8 power so they lose power kill units with this power, kill enemy units in this location , if you play this card destroy your other cards, this card destroys all your other cards but gains their power, this card fusions with your card at this location with the most power etc. and thanks to the locations being random every match feels different because you need different strategies for the different locations combination. It involves more strategy and thinking than you might be thinking.
