Yes. Origin did it on purpose, as you play the game further you will see a Kilrathi warship somewhere in the farm of Cove, and the farmer claimed that he saw a cat-headed man came out from the "flying object".
Yes, in Serpent Isle there was also this thing where you could walk inside of a wall for a bit to get to a secret room full of goodies. Ultima VI and VII were great with the whole "you can do anything in the game". YOu could kill anybody, you could get to unreachable places, there was a telekenesis spell that would allow you to bypass dungeon puzzles, and there was teh reproduction spell, which you could use on stacks of money... lots of fun things.
Ultima VI also had the Iolo cheat menu, where you could get any item you want. Talk to Iolo, and say, "spam", enter, "spam", enter, "spam", enter, "humbug", enter. You can the get any item you want, as many as you want (from talking to Iolo).
I found out the secret cave completely by myself when I was a kid. NPCs mention there are "clues" of the stable murder in this house, but I couldn't find any. So I got desperate and used the crates to climb up to search the rooftop area, and then BINGO! I couldn't believe what I have discovered.
Those were really the good old times when the game even asks you to write to the developing company that you actually beat the game.
Second best Ultima in existence. Ultima IV is truly a masterpiece.
Love the DOS soundtrack of Ultima 7!
I grew up with it in the 90's as did most of us
The ONLY thing missing from Exult all these years!
It plays the WingCommander music inside the room!! hahaha

Holy crap! I had no idea that secret room was there!
Are there other places like that in other Ultima series anyone?

There is also a different entrance to the room

Does anyone know about the second secret entrance to the portals? I need to make a video on that
is it possible and go back to the roof of the house in Trinsic you started on?
Yes - you can go back and play the full game with all the best gear and spells.
