My computer spec is very close. Asus ROG STRIX Z270E GAMING
, Intel Core i7-7700K, Corsair Dominator 16GB 3600MHz. Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080.
Corsair HX750i. Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX. Samsung 960 PRO. 1TB SATA 7200. And ASUS 4K monitor.
Read some concerns about heat issues with that Phanteks case. Any comments? BTW, the case looks great.

im confused he says put the lead from water block to the fan header ??? you mean the cpu cooler pump to the opt header!! the fans on rad are in the fan header directly above the opt header for water block pump
Can that honkin' big plastic piece over the I/O area be removed?
I looked at images of the back, but can't tell it is it riveted to the board or not. I'm doing a build for this board and have everything but the board, but realize that the 240mm Thermaltake Water 3.0 would not fit in the case with that plastic piece on the board.
I really don't want to buy another ATX case.

Question: At 2:05 you said you've already applied your adhesive tape to the backing plate. Ummm... what adhesive tape??? It's not in the manual, there was none in the box, it's not mentioned in any other install guides I can find, but the plate certainly LOOKS like it should have something there, and the once I screw in the mounting screws, it is really loose, which makes me think something should definitely be there.
So, what is it? Where is it? Why don't I have it? Where do I get it? What can I use instead?
I basically won't install my Corsair H115i to my i7-7700K in my Gaming 9 mobo until I feel comfortable knowing it is safe to do so.
Rob Leisner I had the exact same problem a few days ago. It turned out thermaltake didn't pack half of the hardware for the kit had to return it and get a new one. Second set had everything

Hey can I ask you something about the socket of Ram. Why you installed RAM's into Number 1 and Number 2 because the number of sockets goes from right to left like 1-3-2-4
That looks like a nice mobo even if it has white accents I heard the mobo runs hot though and there is no much room for over clocking on it though?
I assemble a PC...but when I shutdown the PC the CPU fan and the rest of fans are remaining still on..and the motherboard looks like it has still power on it, because the small LED lights are on. Do u think is the motherboard's fault...I have an Asus prime z270-p or the power supply (it is an xilence xp730r8 with 730watts)?

you should really start doing os installs. that's just as important as the actual build
that is the part you look up, he doesn't do that because that would mean he would have to spend an extra $200 dollars on the os that he is NOT sponsoring.
Will this setup be good if I install it into a NZXT S340 elite (vr ready)? Will the liquid cooler mentioned in this video be compatible or can I install a Kraken instead? Is it VR ready aswell or I do not need since case is vr ready itself? Moreover is it better to have an SSD HDD? Thanks would really help me in my build

anyone experience any issue with using mic on this build? I have the same mobo and similiar setup. My friends are telling me my mic transmitted loud distorted noise... I have installed the latest audio driver but the problem still exists.
Can I use skylake cpu's on z270 motherboards? (mITX boards for z170's are kinda poop coz they're all black and red and I already bought my 6600k so I wanted to see if I can use that on z270 boards since they have more neutral colours and better specs.)

When I get a M.2 drive, I'll probably just stick on some plaint matte black thermal pads. Should do the job.

And I'm not saying it's not frustrating that manufacturers only ever seem to use ugly green PCBs on M.2 NVMe drives, just a way around it.
I own a 950 pro but I can't seem to find anything else when I sit down and try to make another build. Why just why? And there's no way around it other than doing peasant levels of modding.

I have the Z270X Gaming 7 motherboard and I was wondering which cooler to buy that would actually fit on the motherboard. I've tried an Antec Kuhler 1250 and the capacitors on the motherboard were in the way of the cooler, which left me very confused...
Capris I'm sure if you used a known Brand's cooler, it should fit.

Mar Esca For the first one, yes you would have to.
For the second one, use a USB drive. Having an internal CD drive is not reccomend, as it's practically useless right now. Get a external one if you need it. The case doesn't come with it, you have to buy it.

OneSteelTank 1070's are so expensive here.. it cost like about 500-600 USD.. while 1050 only cost around 200 USD.. i live in japan btw' so im just gonna stick with 1050 for now.. im planning on upgrading in the near future' so i think this would be a great entry level build..
