It’s okay Kian has a few weeks to learn to read those baby books in time to read them to baby boy 😂😉
The peepee teepee is to put on him while being changed so he doesn't pee on you. I wish I had some when my guy was a newborn, I got peed on at least 6 times 😂

'I love you forever' is BY FAR the best book! pretty emotional, but definitely a great one. I can see you guys reading it to baby boy for years and years! I still have my 'I love you forever' book from when I was a baby & now I'm 16 xx
my mom read it to me when i was little (also 16 rn) i now passed it down to my little brother, that book was a big part of my childhood😣
my mom used to read that book to my sister and i when we were younger.
every single year for our birthdays she makes a post on fb and writes at the end “i love you forever, i like you for always, as long as im living, my babies you’ll be”
i’m now 23 and my sister is almost 22. that book will forever be my favorite.

I had my first baby in July. It really is so amazing and beautiful. But no one talks about the post partum experience. It’s ok to feel sad, it’s normal to have strain on your relationship, it’s so incredibly difficult work and the lack of sleep doesn’t help. I wish you a peaceful healing stage and hope that you know that the post partum struggles will pass and you both can get through it! I had the baby blues and cried every day for 2 weeks. But now I’m happier than ever. You really have to have grace with your partner. Us moms often become the default parent and it’s difficult but so worth it. ❤️
Going through this currently. My baby is 6 days old today. I’m happy to hear it’ll pass and that you’re feeling better and happier mama 🤍
Hey not sure if you’ve already been told but the bath toys with holes do get moldy inside rather fast so you’ll have to throw them out and get more regularly if you want to keep using them ❤️
i’m not done with the video but so far she has gotten foam ones! my bestfriend’s baby boy had his first birthday party just last weekend & he got the same bath toys! 💙💙
I saw a hack where a parent super glued or hot glued the holes so they would last longer! My mind was blown

You probably know this buttttt just in case, the grass drying rack gets moldy fast so just make sure you’re cleaning it regularly(: Sooooo excited for you guys! Can’t believe how close you’re getting! Prayers for a quick and safe delivery for both Ayla and baby!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

I’m so excited for y’all to become parents. I’ve watched Kian since like O2L days and seeing him go from that to actually settling down and having a baby is beautiful. I believe you two are a perfect match and Ayla you are BEAUTIFUL! ♥️

Tip: sleep with the little blankets with the animal heads Ayla. Those are comfort blankets for the baby and your scent will be left of them and the baby will sleep more comfortably 😊

Love you forever is a book. My mom brought to me and my brothers when we were little it’s such a good book. And should be a staple for every parent with young kids.

5:44 I love that book my mom read it to me all the time but the Spanish version. It’s such a nice story. Get the Spanish version so Kian can read it to him. I feel like it sounds sweeter in Spanish.

be careful with the wipe warmer! it sometimes drys out the bottom chunk of wipes so they’re completely useless! Idk which one(s) you guys got but if it has a temperature knob, just make sure you don’t have it at the highest temp! lowest temp goes a long way!

Love the gifts you guys got! Very sweet of your family and friends. Ayla you look amazing! My favorite new born product was the nested bean weighted baby swaddle. It was a MUST HAVE. My LO never had any issues using it and slept amazing. I had my girl back in June of 2020 (scary Covid times). My husband’s must have for our LO was the baby carrier. We went on hikes and the carrier just worked so much better than any jogger or stroller. Much love and luck for you both! ❤

Any double gifts that you get that are from target you can return with your ID! You just present your ID and they scan it, only thing is you can only return up to $100 within a year. Or if it’s a Cat and Jack brand, you can return it when he grows out of it, using the original receipt or card !

9:08 just remember breast feeding is a full time job. So IF you decide to stop breast feeding or IF the supply stops due to any number of reasons, that formula machine will be amazing. But if not you can always give it away to a friend who may need in the future ❤️

Mom tip for the bath toys! Hot glue the hole at the bottom so the water doesn’t get inside and turn moldy inside!
I always loved the baby books. Good to start a little library now. Also had a wipe warmer and did not like it at all. Would always dry the wipes out and you’re honestly changing the baby so fast I think they’ll be ok with cold wipes for a minute or two.

Wipe warmers are such a great idea but the worst ever when you are out and dont have the warmer and the baby isnt used to cold wipes!! Just a be prepared bc we werent lol! Or if you can find a portable one(if they make that and keep it in your car maybe! Idk just a thought! Congratulations!! This is only lucky baby boy!
