Thanks a lot! And your question makes total sense (as long as I’m interpreting it correctly lol) - I’d say it depends! I typically use different gear just for the sake of not having to get 2 of the same piece.. and weigh the rune more than the stats on the gear if that makes sense. The only rhyme/reason I use when making decisions other than that is trying to generally have more of the stat that makes sense on the gear that goes with the rune. If it’s a DPS rune, more strength/agi. If it’s tanking, maybe looking for something that also has a bit of stam. Sixty upgrades is my best friend when picking gear - hope that answers your question! One example I use frequently would be having 2 sets of legs on my mage for PvP (living flame and icy veins) icy veins is a haste boost on a 3min CD which can be nice when I know I’ll be able to freecast in a big team fight by focusing more on positioning. So the legs I have that on have less stam and more spell power/int. Then when that’s on CD, I swap back to living flame pants with more of a mix of stam/int/spellpower. But in other cases like shaman with shamanistic rage, if you’re using way of the earth and just want shamanistic rage for the mana or warrior and the speed boost on the gloves, it doesn’t really matter what piece you have it on. Another example is I keep a chest piece with war bringer on it and throw that on in the open world as I play on a PvP server (and its also just a helpful rune to have on when in the open world regardless.) that piece had more stam on it and my PvE chest with flagellation or raging blow (this is last phase I’m referring to) was more catered to PvE with more strength/agi.
I get the alt click item in your character screen to switch that specific item out quickly.. I made sets in the itemrack.. How do I add that complete set into that small on screen box? Where to alt click then? XD
how do you get that bar with items.... no one seems to show how the hell can u get it. i got the addon but i cant seem to get any slot out in the bar....ppl say its ctr+click on itemslot but it does nothing for me , please help

I use bartender and found that as long as I toggle character specific key binds I no longer run into the issue. But I can’t say for sure and it was definitely one of the most annoying things when it happened!
How do you get the icons down on the bottom left near your Unitframes? I can't seem to get that part to work. Where you can do each individual piece/slot. Down by your health bar. I've tried showing/hiding buttons but I can't get anything like that to pop up. I have 3 sets already made that I've binded to numlock keys and works fine, but that's the part I cannot get to show / work. Edit: Figured it out after seeing another video. Alt+Click the slot in your character frame to add it onto your screen. Do for all slots.
