I know right! It ruins everything! We can all agree by now that we would rather find out ourselves who the winner is by not spoiling it through the thumbnail picture. And if you think about it, it's pretty mean to just only show the "winner" on the thumbnail picture and not also show the losing opponent.
What happened to Rinderknech? He looks disabled when he moves. Also he steps into the baseline after serving which made him lose quite a few points with Frances just having to return deep. Some strange decisions on obvious shots as well like at 7:02. Tough loss for someone having made the hardest part.
Tiafoe is just a nicer version of Nick. Seems like he is more interested in the social media aspect, and just really wants to be a tennis influencer. Dude hardly ever improves and is just way too dramatic. Dude is always trying so hard to put on a show rather than win the match. Needs a serious wake up call.
Interesting take, although I would compare him more to Monfils than Nick. A showman, who gets enjoyment out of the spectacle as much as the outcome. I agree he could focus a lot more and just grind, but it's really just who he is, I think. He's not a grinder. But for what he is, I am grateful, as he has created some amazing memories. Tennis needs people of all kinds to showcase the sport. Would I love to see him win the US Open? Definitely. But it would require monk-like focus, which for a star of his scale would be incredibly challenging.
@@KeithGreenJr I’m sure he is too. But I find this the issue with modern athletes. I don’t blame them just sad to watch athletes who could have more potential not use it. You don’t think his fans would love to see him win and put on a show at the same time.
@@nicks6813 I get your point, but I don’t think it takes “monk” like focus. I think there’s a healthy balance. You can put on a show and still win. This attitude basically says I’m not good enough so I’ll just focus on being a showman. As a fan I hate to see athletes not live up to their potential. When he stops playing, he can no longer be the showman, he will start wishing he could’ve won one. Not saying he won’t but it’s looking like he might never win.
@@nicks6813 I do agree, he is closer to monfils because he’s way more likeable than Nick. Monfils seems more authentic I feel like Foe tries too hard and forces it a lot.
Tiafoe is going nowhere! He's made too much money & has gone soft‼Lululemon⁉😂 You can go into any of their stores grab whatever you want, walk out & they won't do a thing in their wokeness‼
@johnscoggins5696, Excuse me? You sound crazy! So, for success on your job you ignored your mom, gurlfriend and supporters? I sincerely belueve you are in tge minority.
@wuncieadams1352 Ignorant people use ad hominem attacks in arguments. I didn't suggest that he ignore his loved ones and supporters. I suggested that it may be a distraction from his goal to be a tennis no. 1. Tennis requires an unusual amount of dedication that most lack because they need and want externals that they may not see as being impediments to success. If you think that's crazy, then you have no reason to participate in discussions about sports psychology.
This was a battle n some high quality tennis! But Francis prevailed thru sheer determination n some nice shot-playing❤
Stop posting winner picture in thumbnail. Post picture of both players. This should be basic by now.

Saved me 8 minutes
The assumption is you already know who won I mean there are 100s of ways to find that out..they showing the main highlights of the event
Stop commenting this
Well they do post some troll ones like tsisipas first loss just to keep us guessing
The addictive applause of the crowd is why so many players just keep going.
Ya gotta love and respect these two warriors, professional through and through. No nonsense. Just play the game.
Frances is a warrior! Good win…
1:39 every tennis player in the world: DON'T APPROACH WITH A CROSS-COURT SLICE
Tiafoe: watch me
Has Tiafoe added a much flatter backhand shot? Some of those really skidded. If so, that's a major addition.
its always been super flat
Some great tennis outta the gate , thank you AO !!!
make your own highlights

Mercifully, this video didn't show it but Big Foe got very sick. This is an incredible comeback
Congrats Tiafoe good fight despite the illness. Wishing you success and victory, claim that trophy 🏆
Alright now My Brotha!
👑👑👣👊🏾🌟
Bravo ❤❤
Tiafoe almost gave it away. Hope he can heal up for the next round.
What was that slow mo for💀
😂
It's gonna be hard for Tiafoe because he needs to work in his endurance

Tough loss for someone having made the hardest part.
All high lv players served like that, leaning into the serve, used body weight to maximize power, momentum carried them forward
He serves like that cuz he's a power bottom.
4:25 isn't that a hinder? He screams just as Tiafoe is about to hit the ball.
Smh 5 sets opening round…sheesh
Tiafoe threw up during the match. He was dealing with a stomach bug
Hey ?
The match doesn’t start at 6-5 😮😮😮😮
Tiafoe can't go far in this tournament playing 5 setters.
Yes, a Pyrrhic victory.
I don't think he'll win the next. Tiafoe's not very keen on endurance
Tsitipas never going to win a slam
And I question Sasha too. Yep.
@KingCast65 I think Sasha has a much better chance than Stefanos
@@mikerzisu9508 Absolutely.
Comebacm is not real for franceguy
I’m never upset to see Rinderkinech lose.
And once again, Tiafoe barely covers the spread.
Not everything is about gambling.
Frances won

Why are Americans so dramatic? 😂😂😂

Love Big Foe. Barely made it out of this one. Needs to lose the mom, girlfriend, and support team. He needs to concentrate on advancing his career.
