The title should be "The Hunt for State of the Art (with Black Forest Labs)" instead. I am not a hater of Playground, but the creators of FLUX deserve this kind of spotlight, and it's open source.
🤔 The title change you suggest makes sense. FLUX being open source definitely deserves more spotlight. And it's interesting that you thought it was about FLUX at first. 😃
Paying user here: like the product and found it because of Garry’s tweets. One bit of constructive feedback; the fact that a logo or design element from successful generation can’t be retained as a brand asset” or reusable component in other generations really limits use. Once solved it’s a true brand design replacement.
I just tried to ask the prompt if I can upload a photo and change it to that person, and it randomly gave me a different dude without any response. I thought it would talk and interact with me, might be something to explore.
Oh, these people are so smart and successful!! Others are just stupid and don't know how to act smart (not that these on the video were more lucky than others)

I had never heard of playground and tried the product while watching the video and it's like any other image generation product. Why the hype?
Just hyping up one of their friends, you can do this for free on your computer with ComfyUI or similar frameworks lol.
Bro, the hype train in this video is moving at full steam.

Flux is better, but even they're getting beaten by the Chinese open-source competition
