I'm betting they thought I was getting ricotta🤣💗💗

They've been introduced to a spoon for a while, but they have always just seemed to play with it instead of using it to eat. Our pediatrician said not to worry about it as most babies don't know how to use a spoon properly until they're 2. I don't really think baby talk is good for babies. I want them to hear words correctly so they will hopefully say them correctly 😆💞

I have a great pizza recipe for you! I'm not sure if you like to cook, but the crust is made with almond flour instead of wheat flour and it tastes just like regular pizza! It's also good for those that need less sugar/carbs. Let me know if you want the recipe! I'll dig it up for you!
1 tablespoon active dry yeast 1 tablespoon honey 1/4 cup warm water ((should feel warm on the inside of your wrist, but not burn)) 3/4 cup almond flour 3/4 cup tapioca starch 3/4 teaspoon sea salt 1 tablespoon olive oil ((or other melted fat if you’re opposed to heating olive oil)) 1 tablespoon egg whites ((less than one egg)) 1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar and of course your favorite toppings The yeast will get foamy after about 5 minutes. If it doesn't, toss it and start over. The dough will be much stickier than conventional pizza dough. Don't be tempted to add more dry ingredients. It will all work out in the end! Gather the dough into somewhat of a ball with a rubber spatula. Again: sticky, but don't worry. Be gentle when flattening out the dough; it will have a lot of air and will easily separate. Make sure your hands are well oiled. INGREDIENTS 1 tablespoon active dry yeast 1 tablespoon honey 1/4 cup warm water ((should feel warm on the inside of your wrist, but not burn)) 3/4 cup almond flour 3/4 cup tapioca starch 3/4 teaspoon sea salt 1 tablespoon olive oil ((or other melted fat if you’re opposed to heating olive oil)) 1 tablespoon egg whites ((less than one egg)) 1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar and of course your favorite toppings! INSTRUCTIONS In the warmed bowl of your stand mixer (or alternately, the bowl you’ll be using with hand-held beaters), combine the yeast, honey, and warm water and whisk to combine. Let sit for a good 5 minutes. It will get foamy and active. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and egg white. In a medium bowl, whisk to combine the almond flour, tapioca starch, and sea salt. Once the yeast is foamy, add the wet and dry ingredients to the bowl and mix on medium high for 30 seconds, scraping down the bowl once to make sure it’s all incorporated. Scrape down the bowl with a rubber spatula again to gather the dough together. It will NOT look like the dough you remember, it is much wetter. Use the spatula to get it into as much of a ball as possible. Cover the bowl with a tea towel and set in a warm (but not hot) place. Allow it to sit for 75-90 minutes. I know, it’s torture. After 75 minutes, check the dough to see if it’s risen. It won’t rise as dramatically as a conventional dough would, but it will have changed, and gotten aerated, and a bit larger. If this has happened, Turn your oven on to 500 and if using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to to heat up while the oven warms. Lightly oil a sheet of parchment paper and turn the dough out onto it. It will likely be a bit stuck to the bottom of the bowl, just scrape it out as best as you can. With oiled hands, gently flatten out the pizza dough into a 9-10″ circle. It will be aerated, so might want to leave empty spaces. Carefully transfer the parchment with the dough onto the pizza stone or sheet pan. Bake at 500 in the lower 1/3 of your oven for 4-6 minutes, or until it’s starting to brown at the edges. (ovens vary, keep an eye on it) Add desired toppings and cook for 2-3 minutes more. Allow to cool for a minute before slicing. NOTES If you have a pizza stone, use it. If not, use the heaviest sheet pan you have. Warm the bowl you’ll be putting the yeast mixture in, as well as the measuring cup you’ll be measuring the water with. If it’s cold, the water will cool right away, and might not activate the yeast. Just run some hot water in it before using. This recipe involves high heat cooking, which might rub some people the wrong way, since there is olive oil and nut flour involved. This is one of those situations where I absolutely put taste and texture first. Good pizza is cooked at high temperatures, and that is part of what makes good pizza good. You can use a different fat if you’d like. Results are best when the crust is cooked almost entirely before adding toppings, so I recommend having your toppings almost completely cooked before adding them in the last step Enjoy!❤️❤️
I love spinach too, and maybe with the right seasonings they may like it more. Guinevere took a pretty big mouthful and didn't spit it out so she must not hate it😆❤️❤️
Way to go Mommy! I think for the done on the right the spinach was a texture issue. When that little piece was hanging on her lip she practically shivered. Poor little darlings have colds. How sad.
This was an older video and they weren't really affected by the colds. They just had runny noses, but other than that you wouldn't even know they were sick! They played and hate appetites like normal lol. I did mix the spinach with pork and mushrooms (like a stuffed mushroom) and they loved it, so I think it was a texture thing😊💕
Thank you😅 I try to have it together lol. Fake it til you make it, right?🤣❤️❤️ The girls have changed my world and I survive only because we have a great routine😊🩷🩷
It is probably the texture of the spinach the babies don’t like. The texture probably sticks to the roof of their mouth? Geneviere sure has an appetite,

1/4 cup warm water ((should feel warm on the inside of your wrist, but not burn))
3/4 cup almond flour
3/4 cup tapioca starch
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon olive oil ((or other melted fat if you’re opposed to heating olive oil))
1 tablespoon egg whites ((less than one egg))
1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
and of course your favorite toppings
The yeast will get foamy after about 5 minutes.
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 cup warm water ((should feel warm on the inside of your wrist, but not burn))
3/4 cup almond flour
3/4 cup tapioca starch
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 tablespoon olive oil ((or other melted fat if you’re opposed to heating olive oil))
1 tablespoon egg whites ((less than one egg))
1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
and of course your favorite toppings!
INSTRUCTIONS
In the warmed bowl of your stand mixer (or alternately, the bowl you’ll be using with hand-held beaters), combine the yeast, honey, and warm water and whisk to combine.
(ovens vary, keep an eye on it)
Add desired toppings and cook for 2-3 minutes more. Allow to cool for a minute before slicing.
NOTES
If you have a pizza stone, use it.
Results are best when the crust is cooked almost entirely before adding toppings, so I recommend having your toppings almost completely cooked before adding them in the last step
Enjoy!❤️❤️
Thank you Alicia for all information. When my 25 yr old granddaughter stays overnight this is what we can do 2gether. Thsnx again, you r awesome
My favorite. But I don't know about babies liking it.
I love spinach too, and maybe with the right seasonings they may like it more. Guinevere took a pretty big mouthful and didn't spit it out so she must not hate it😆❤️❤️
@@aliciabarton3497 I saute with olive oil and garlic powder. Now I need to run to the store to buy some. I want it now.
I'm going to try that next, so yummy!❤️❤️
❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️
Careful babies
Thankfully it was very soft and mushy😬💓💓
Way to go Mommy! I think for the done on the right the spinach was a texture issue. When that little piece was hanging on her lip she practically shivered. Poor little darlings have colds. How sad.
This was an older video and they weren't really affected by the colds. They just had runny noses, but other than that you wouldn't even know they were sick! They played and hate appetites like normal lol. I did mix the spinach with pork and mushrooms (like a stuffed mushroom) and they loved it, so I think it was a texture thing😊💕
❤ beautiful girls. Mom seems very together.
Thank you😅 I try to have it together lol. Fake it til you make it, right?🤣❤️❤️ The girls have changed my world and I survive only because we have a great routine😊🩷🩷
Spinach needs a little garlic and onion, then some Parmesan. Spinach is hard to eat for adults! Just plain?
Oh you just put on Parmesan! Yah!
Cheese makes everything better😅 I always try to see if they will eat new foods on their own before adding the cheese😊💓💓
Gwen really scarfs down her food.
We have taught her how to spit it out if she gets too much, but she loves just shoving it all in😅💕
It would be good if you mentioned their age every once in a while
I put their age in the description of every video😊
The vegetables are always in the same place and theest in the center.
I usually have a veggie and a fruit on the sides and the meat in the center.😊
😊😊❤❤👍👍
🥰❤️❤️
It is probably the texture of the spinach the babies don’t like. The texture probably sticks to the roof of their mouth? Geneviere sure has an appetite,
I mixed the spinach with mushrooms and pork and made basically a stuffed mushrooms and they lived it!💖💖
Pasta = noodles 😮😅
😅
For sure twins gets rabbits food ( lol )
Spinach is good for you because 99 % iron
It's a no go to the green stuff🤮 those babies are smart!
🤣🤣 I only like my spinach raw, it gets weird to me when it's cooked. I did end up mixing it in with mushrooms and pork and they loved it! It was like a stuffed mushroom!❤️❤️
@@aliciabarton3497 we have alot to learn from babies. They are willing to try new foods and enjoy it when they like something. Savor it and enjoy it! Babies are a joy to watch as they grow and learn. It refreshing to our soul. Thank you for sharing!
🥰🥰❤️❤️
I agree with them no spinach
I now hide it in sauces and popsicles😅🩷🩷
Honestly I think 🤔 it’s the color GREEN that’s not appealing 🫤🤣
It could be😊💗💗
I don' t think they like the spinach either, I will only eat it raw like in a salad
I really only like it raw as well, but they're too small to eat it that way yet😅💗💗
Anna says: kiss this..🤪🌹🌹♥️♥️
