the reason why I got into Itzy bcos theyre one of the most unproblematic group and their songs have beautiful messages that motivates me thats why i dont understand where the hate is coming from like if you dont like their song just dont listen to it

This is the ITZY I WANTED with this sound!!! Don't get me wrong, I expect a hard hitting track and choreo with their next MV releases because that's their trademark but I'm all for this.

They fit in this kind of concept and genre. ITZY wasn't just given an opportunity before to showcase their talents more, clearly the members has different styles but if they work on them together they will become one. Many people doubted them for doing this kind of concept and genre but look, they did really well.
Ryujin showcased more of her vocals, and Lia with soft rap part which is very refreshing to hear and see. I hope JYP won't force them again to do something out of their forte or they will be uncomfortable or worse case, break down. Like Lia in the documentary, he keeps making Lia sing out of her range. I know and understand his intentions, he wants the girls to bring out their potentials. He wants the girls to do better but the girls feels the same way. Sometimes, you want to do better but it just won't come out. It's normal. They're facing lots of criticisms, pressure to the point they starting to doubt themselves.
Haters would never satisfy so let's do our best too to support the girls and pay back their hard work just to do better for themselves and also to give us their best versions and best performances🤍

That's my expectation too. I'd be shocked if Cake isn't the next Not Shy or In the Morning. I'm hyped but will love it regardless.

The way you expressed how people were/still treat ITZY by going out of their way to comment something negative when they "aren't fans" still baffles me, I'll never understand that mentality. I just don't understand why some people feel the need to spread such hatred.
In the last few years, I've had to learn to put myself first. Some people around me didn't like that, so i said goodbye.
This song resonates with me so much that it's truly "None Of My Business" what those people do and think of me, so I will pay them no mind ^_^
Thank You again for an amazing breakdown! Your videos help me feel not so alone! ♡

So far this is the best reaction vid I'd watched. I love the way how he knows the hate train about ITZY. We're talking about NOMB, the dissed song of ITZY to those fans who leave them during Sneakers era ( the era they'd got a lot of hate). Bet on me is for Midzys who don't leave them. NOMB is for antis.

The JYP part is overblown. Sometimes you need a push of tough love and that a JYP just giving that part. If your an adult and work you will have those moments in life when your boss points out the reality of life (as in life is not fair and not nice you want to succeed you need to face harsh reality some times). It's called TOUGH LOVE. it's better you get it from someone you care then some unknown netizen who are just there to give you hate for just the purpose of hate.

I really don’t get the people defending him if I’m honest. When you put it like that, you make it sound like he just gave feedback/constructive criticism and it was perfectly suited for the situation. I am a very blunt and straightforward person myself, but the way he handled that recording session was frankly … stupid. From the start, he was looking for things to point out that he didn’t like, he looked annoyed/like he didn’t wanna be there for literally no reason, Yeji was sick and explained that her throat was in bad condition, and whatever he said to her after that (the audio was removed, which is kinda telling in itself) is what made her cry. They had to rerecord so many times, and the only thing I’ll give him props for is eventually lowering the key, but not before he told them how bad they were at singing (and showcasing some kinda awful vocals on his part as an “example”). You do not need to give “tough love” to be a good producer or director. It’s really not hard to mix criticism with compliments, which he didn’t do in this case. Watching the full thing just made me feel that even more.

@@rembbokie yes, he was pissed but acting like he was screaming on top his lungs for murder is exaggerating. The average asian parents are more worst, they love us but like Russell Peters says, 'somebody is gonna get a hurt right now' if we don't live to expectation. So he is at normal level the tolerate level of a boss at work. If you find that tough you going to have lots of miserable days in life.

@@antoniodasilva8030 I never said he was screaming at the top of his lungs though 😭? I’m sorry if you think tough love and impossible expectations are a normal, healthy thing. I hope you can heal someday

@@antoniodasilva8030Gotta agree with you on this. I feel many things were taken out of context. He was maybe angry as any boss would but he was also tired and people mistaken that for him being extra mad because he didn't show any happy like emotions. He didn't say anything when Yeji said she was sick in a negative way ofc they had a deadline so he has to get her to try and push past that.

Im just happy that JYP is finally giving these girls some different songs. They are one of the most talented groups out there but unfortunately for them they are often given the wrong material ( wrong as in too much of the same thing )
