Yōkai are a class of supernatural creatures in Japanese folklore.
Taishogun market in Kyoto is commonly known as "Yokai street" :)

I love and am very fascinated whenever you give us a little window into Japanese culture, folklore, history and such things. It is wonderful and inspiring.
Hello Yoko. Some of those statues are pretty creepy looking! I bet much more so in the evening. Also, 3 things...I like the new intro! Very cool. Also, nice shoes! And finally lol @ 1:58 ! Ahaha....have a great week and be well.
You guys have done it again always interesting and amazing things in your videos Love it thaks for giving me a trip to Japan for free
Seems like a peaceful beautiful place. Would really like to visit once in my lifetime.
I like the Intro. Also Naoki's music was excellent
Ah, this is the ghost story I hoped and expected of you - thanks awfully!
Yokai and Jókai, they've got the same name - it's really a fantastic and significant coincidence. (You know, I mean Mór Jókai, the great romancer - a well-known name in our country.)
Once I had been living here in "Jókai utca" (Yokai Street in Hungarian) - but I'm not yet a ghost, hahaha!
Yokai are charismatic creatures with mysterious charm LOVE THEM wish to visit the place in the future
Yoko san, you where so nice to the blue Yōkai ^_^, does it/he have any specifik name?
Really liked your hat
New intro, it is great but I like the previous one also.
Take care and enjoy your week
I reeeally love stories about yokai and ayakashi (it's basically the same, I suppose?). It's fun to know there's a street like that! How popular is this folklore in Japan?
I love this video. Great work!
I really do love your videos! Next time I visit Japan, I want to make videos like this. :)
Hi Hana
I liked the video
greetings from Brazil ☺
hug
Great video!
Thanks for posting it =D
It's cool to see people's reactions... when what they consider unexisting creatures are there, in front of them... and they suddenly stop, thinking - What...? Am I dreaming? How can this be true? -... and they need a couple of seconds to realize that they're only puppets!
Thank you for sharing!
^_^
Amazing video..Yoko-san..!!! I'll be moving to Kyoto city by October 2011 and this is definitely one of the places i will be visiting in Kyoto..!! Thanks a lot for sharing it with us..You did a fantastic job..!! Alex (^-^)v
