    I’m super fascinated by all the new ways God has uses to communicate with us, whether that’s by triggering something within us with like a meme you can tell is devinely inspired, or through music when you have that gut feeling that THIS song is different almost as if it’s Jesus himself singing to you. Also a random leaf falling next to me that’s a perfect heart shape, etc. All sorts of ways God tries to get our attention in this day and age. ❤️

    The Jews may have preserved the scriptures faithfully and their leaders supposedly knew the scriptures in detail. However it did not help them to understand God's plan through the Christ, Jesus. In fact they killed him. Nobody understood the OT till after the resurrection and that was despite the best teacher ever -Jesus- trying to carefully explain it to them for 3 years. Yes the Jews were chosen of God and still are I believe, but they don't necessarily have a superior understanding of the OT. The Jewish history demonstrates how poorly they understood the things of God.

    Question...Did we ever come to the deeper understanding of the 3 +12. It just feels like we are left hanging on that point?

    • @OscarSteve6
      @OscarSteve6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe he was showing us the correlation of the first (3 +12) - the 3 main characters in the Torah of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and his 12 children with a new (3+12) - the 3 main prophets in the Nevi'im of Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel and the 12 "minor" prophets. Hope that helps tho you probably got that far anyway!

    Tim, I have to confess I feel also light and real Gods Words while reading Bible. Recently I red Bible and now I’ve started again. I’m so happy to be able to here Gods voice from Scriptures. It is my positive addiction :) I’m in love with Jesus.

    Great clip this one by Tim. Have just caught up with it as a download on a recent flight. Being empty of ourselves is the big struggle of life. Technology and easy access to whatever we want gives us a very wrong sense of our own importance and a sense of self-determination.want

      If you go to Tim's website he has a list of authors and people he admirers. The link is here.
      www.timmackie.com/about-tim/
      He also mentions in the latest podcast some books that have helped him in terms of "soul" and "afterlife". Its a very interesting listen. The link is here.
      thebibleproject.com/podcast/what-happens-after-we-die/
      Tim mentions books he has read and is reading and I try to take note of them when he does. He also mentioned a book by Greg Boyd called "The Crucifixion of the Warrior God" as being of great help to him with divine violence in the Bible. That book comes up in two podcasts you can find here on divine violence.
