Looks like a fun trip. Have you guys tried studded tires yet? I have grip studs in a set of tires for winter riding, it makes it easy when you have bite on ice, frozen dirt and trees/roots. I can crawl through icy mud holes the guys with normal tires need to work their butts off to get through, the studs grab the blocks of ice and pull them under you instead of you pushing the blocks of ice.
I haven't tried Studs yet, thought about it though. Do you run them in the summer too? We do some road driving to get to the trails, figured they would either rip out or wear down quick. Thanks for the Comment! 👍
@@GetitDirty I swap to different rims/tires for summer, my 520 honda wont spin the studded rears on hard packed dirt and is even less fun to ride with them. You can ride the studs year round if you want, they will make your tires last longer on the road too. Proper studs are like studded car/truck tires but more aggressive, they dont wear down much on the pavement at all and they dont come out until the tire gets worn down or the lugs start to rip off. Some guys try ice racing screws but they suck and are nothing like real studs. My grip studs are 8-9 years old, I had them in dirt bike tires for the first 5 years then stopped riding bikes in the winter then two different sets of atv tires. They are only worn a bit now but still work fine and I've only ever lost one when the whole lug came off the bike tire.
great video!

@@nseric1233 Good to know, thanks 👍 I'll have to look for a second set of tires. Would like to have more grip on the ice.
🤣🤣🤣 It's a nice trail through there. I hope someone is nice enough and go and cut those downed trees for us.. lol
Haha I'll bring a chainsaw next time. Definitely a good run. I won't be going around any holes from now. LOL
